The Neighborhood:

The apartment is located in the Belgrano neighborhood, which includes quiet residential areas, with commerce on avenues like Cabildo and Libertador. It's the area next to Palermo. You can reach Recoleta in 15 minutes by subway and 20 minutes to get to 9 de Julio.

You'll have varied gastronomy throughout Belgrano, especially in its new boulevard El Paseo Via Viva. It's worth exploring the neighborhood for a whole day if you have time. Very close, just a few blocks away, we recommend:



- Piani Café, or Americano, if you want a good Brunch (specialty coffee)

- If you prefer homemade pasta, visit Mauro it, Italian restaurant.

- Also “El Pobre Luis”, a specialized Argentine grill.

- Unmissable in the area, the small but interesting Chinatown, with places to explore, restaurants, cafes, and bars (recommended during the week with less crowds and at night at Via Viva) From there, you can take a Tourist Bus (more info at the entrance to Chinatown)

- If you like soccer, the Monumental Stadium and the River Plate Museum.

- The restaurant at River Stadium to taste some dishes with views of the playing field.

- The crowded Av. Cabildo, with all kinds of clothing stores, exchange houses, etc.

- Parque Barracas de Belgrano, with the Glorieta de Belgrano (there are milongas at night and on weekends) and the Belgrano C train station if you want to go to Tigre (to visit the Puerto de Frutos) or to the center to the Retiro station.

- Plaza Manuel Belgrano with the beautiful Iglesia Redonda (fairs on weekends) and across the street, the Museo Español Enrique Larreta with a unique Andalusian patio and the known café Croque Madame to have a snack or breakfast.

- At the Belgrano market (Av. Monroe), you can eat in its food court, explore its gastronomic shops, spice shops, natural stores, or have a drink at its outdoor bars at night.

Getting Around:

The apartment is close to two major avenues; Av. Cabildo, and Av. Libertador. With many bus line options (here called “colectivos”) that connect to all parts of the city.



The nearest Metro (Subway) station to the apartment is 7 blocks away, located on Av. Cabildo, Congreso de Tucumán Station, Line D, green color.



We recommend exploring, just five blocks from the apartment, the small but powerful Chinatown in Buenos Aires. Where you can enjoy cultural festivals, specialized shops, and authentic restaurants.

The visit to the neighborhood starts by admiring the impressive Arch (view above) dressed with pieces brought from China, then there's the walk along the old alley that bordered the train tracks, which has been transformed into a row of small restaurants, shops, and bazaars where you can buy a little bit of everything, from spices, fish, imported products, grains, sweets of all kinds, including toys, art materials, and kitchen utensils. You have the new Via Viva section to explore, with many options to dine outdoors; it's an area worth seeing and being seen at night.



You can move around the city with Driver Apps like Uber, Cabify, or Didi.
