”Great hotel !!”

”The property is a repurposed historic home and the rooms very unique in the best way. Staff was so accommodating from housekeeping to restaurant and bar servers. Also, it's just a short walk to local shopping, restaurants and historic sites. We'll definitely be back.”

”The property was under almost complete renovation with only two floors of rooms open and the entire entry level was under construction. However, there was no mention of this on the site description. After booking, I received a message stating that the pool, restaurant, and exercise areas were close for renovations, but not essentially the whole building. The available room we were given was not in acceptable condition, certainly far from "Very Good" as indicated by the rating on Expedia. It...

”The location was beautiful. But the house was very dirty and in need of much repair. The water smelled like poop. The toilet in our room was filled with waste. The ceiling downstairs right by the kitchen had a huge hole and pipes exposed. The front door was broken and needed much repair. The patio out back was filthy the kitchen a complete mess with dishes stacked in the sink. They had cats and dogs in the house and while I was eating a cat jumped up in my lap. ”The room was clean and all the staff I encountered were friendly and helpful. I liked the setup, it was nice having both a private door to the outside and a door to the inside of the hotel.”

”Our room smelled strongly musty. Either the carpets are moldy or the A/C unit needs cleaned or replaced. The rest of the room was fairly clean. Breakfast was average for hotel food but there was only one option for coffee creamer--shelf stable liquid creamer, which is full of chemicals and not really food. Overall, disappointed! Room was expensive and yet smelly.”
