”Customer service of every employee was amazing. They were very courteous, quick to assist and friendly. Food from the Baya Hotel Restaurant was delicious. We enjoyed every entree we ordered. One things is that the room had some issues such as some of the walls had cracks, sliding doors on the balcony and bathroom wouldn’t lock properly. Some of the furniture were outdated, they had alot of scratches and wear and tear. We got the Panorama room and the view was priceless.”

other than that it was great. nice and quiet and a good escape from the city for a while. island hopping was reasonably priced and shorter boat ride away compared to other resorts. diving courses and tours offered for both novice and experienced divers which are excellent.”
”The place is a great distance from the town so very exclusive. They spent two days of our stay cleaning the pool. The WiFi is minimal and I couldn't connect to it from our house. The houses are clean but have no air-conditioning. The restaurant is nice and has good food which is good because you will be eating there alot because it's so hard to get to town.”
”Wonderful staff! The transport coming in and out of the island was excellent and everything is in order. The island itself is beautiful, accommodation is excellent and the staff are all courteous. ”The resort is an a sad state. The island is very beautiful, but essencially everything else was disappointing. Villas are outdated and in a poor condition. Staff is unprofessional, they will make you promises that will be never kept. Food quality is very low. Activities are not priced competitivly as they essencially trap you on the island with no access to any other providers (they charge handsomely to dock on the island). Avoid at all cost. ”

”It’s the warmth and friendliness of the staff that make the place stand out from others. The hotel itself is comfortable, food is good. The only cons I would say is the walk from the reception to your room. If it rains, the ground is slippery but they put a rubber rag to walk in. You only have to make sure to walk on it. All in all, our stay is one of the most comfortable places so far.”

The culinary experience was a delightful surprise, featuring hearty, home-style filipino cooking that perfectly matched the atmosphere. Each meal was generously portioned and flavorfully prepared, highlighting local ingredients.
The private villas are thoughtfully equipped with essential amenities, allowing guests to fully embrace the natural surroundings. A special mention goes to Amber, the hotel's charming resident dog, who adds personality to the property while keeping the local monkeys at a distance!
While the lack of air conditioning and limited WiFi coverage (restricted to the lobby and restaurant areas) might initially seem like drawbacks, we found they actually enhanced our stay. The digital detox we needed.
All in all, I would definetly recommend this hotel for those looking into enjoying the best of Coron. Would come back in a heartbeat! "
