Riverside stay
The property was in a fantastic location right on the river! The private beach allows you and your guests to easily sunbath, swim and enjoy water sports. The inside was spacious and modern. The video poker machines, slot machine, pinball machine and pool table were a blast! To top it off, you’re only a few minutes away from local casinos and restaurants. The owner was kind and very knowledgeable about the area. This is an awesome place and we would love to stay there again!

Annual River Trip
Last year, my husband and I turned our annual summer river trip into a friends trip. Everyone had such a great time that we decided to rent a house for the trip this year. Vickey's home was so accommodating for the six of us and our dog. Everything we could have possibly needed was in the home ready for our use. But of course, we were there for the river! What caught my eye most about this property was the private beach. We were able to dock our floatie chairs in the water and do what we loved most...lounge with our cocktails! However, there is a stretch of moss at the shoreline, which made it challenging to wade into the water (I'm not sure if this is seasonal/ temporary or if the moss stays put year-round). Another bummer was the water level during during our trip. According to photos posted online advertising the property, the water line is high; that was not the case during our trip on 8/16-8/20/23. Severe weather was predicted to hit the area (due to Hurricane Hilary), which factored into the release of water from the dam. Our Saturday was rainy, and no water was released...no one's fault of course, but it was just a bummer. Also, know that the pet fee applies per pet...I didn't know that when we had a last-minute addition of a friend's cat. Vicky has family living next door, and her son offered to take a photo of our group...I thought that was kind. I think we plan to rent again, assuming that the same friends will be joining :) Thank you, Vickey!

Wonderful property
This is the 12th time we have stayed at this property. This property has the best beach. Vickey is a joy to work with. We enjoy floating down to a local on ramp and walking back to the house. My son calls it our personal "lazy river". We can not wait to come back.

We went to the colorado river as a family meeting up with relatives from California, checking in process was super easy, the bedrooms were plenty big for the 5 couple and two infants + toby dog that stayed. The kitchen / living room area was INCREDIBLE, which walked out to a beautiful patio overlooking the river! Being in the inlet was nice because the current wasn’t quite as strong. The private beach was absolutely perfect for us to tie off two jet skis the California cousins brought with them. All the casino/pin ball games were a huge hit. Two of the bedrooms upstairs had beautiful attached bathrooms while two more had a nice shared bathroom. Owners were awesome when we had a last minute issue that caused us to bring toby dog and i spaced out and forgot to mention it they were super accommodating and understanding. Stay here you wont be disappointed!

Great Stay with tiny disclaimers
The location was amazing! Off the Colorado River and plenty of space and the amenities (billiards, slots, air hockey) were an amazing add on. Host was always prompt to reply and communication was great. Now, on to the disclaimers. 1. Property is a PART TIME rental. Just means expect a lot of the owners things to be around (vehicle, screws and miscellaneous items). Because of this, the ramp to the river is blocked off due to the locked garage/ramp belonging to the owner. You’ll have to disembark your aquatic vehicles on the public ramp down the road. 2. Can’t change the thermostat. It’s in the description of the property. Probably per the house owner’s instructions. Not ideal when it’s 100 degrees outside. 3. Not the cleanest rental I’ve been in but I think that boils down to the property being a part time rental. I’m conclusion, house is a great spring break location for college folks and individuals that aren’t super picky.

Great location on the Colorado River
A great house with beautiful views in a great location. Not as clean as we expected. Mattress in suite at the top of the stairs needs to be replaced immediately, along with a lot of the bedding, pillows & towels. Washer, dryer, & dishwasher are very old & need replacing also. Love seats need replacing also. House needs a good spring cleaning & decluttering. We would gladly stay here again if these things were replaced.

Over the past several years we have rented 4 vacation homes & were very disappointed in the cleanliness of this house. Upon arrival there was a load of towels left in the washing machine from previous renters, there were items left in the dryer. Having all the bedrooms with bathrooms was great but the rugs in all the bathrooms were dirty and there were barely enough wash cloths to go around for 9 people. The are enough towels but they are all dingy and don't look clean. The upstairs bedroom on the left the mattress needs to be replaced. The bedroom on the right had pillows that smelled of perspiration, the middle bedroom only has a small night stand with no other place to set suit cases or put your clothes. The downstairs bathroom had bugs in it, & the main bathroom had a cockroach in it, we contacted Vickie to find bug spray with no response. There are 2 chairs in the kitchen area that are very unstable, one at the table & one at the counter, you have to be very careful if you lean back or you feel like you are going to fall over. The one at the counter lost a bearing so we had grease on the floor to clean up, not sure which one it came out of. Every dresser or table in the house had to be wiped off before you could set anything on them. We left the house much cleaner than when we arrived and it was a consensus that Vickie is not a premier host.

Oh Glenda. I am sorry that you were disappointed with the house. My husband did leave his cleaning towels in the washer & dryer. I let him know. We are purchasing more washcloths for the guests and replacing the towels, throw rugs in the bathrooms and new pillows. Costco, here I come! We just purchased a new mattress in the upstairs bedroom. Put it in after you left. Can't help the knats that hatch from October to January. They are very important to the river environment. Fish food. We are replacing the chairs around the kitchen bar. I am glad that you wrote so I can keep my renters happy. Thank you, Vickey

Horrible smell, kitchen was disgusting had to spend 1 hour cleaning
So the booking was super easy, but then we show up and walk into the smell of Fabuloso"HORRIBLE".. The kitchen was disgusting, food was stuck to the countertops and everything was just dirty.. We spent an hour just cleaning because we had our other friends coming and wanted it to be nice. We went to the store and bought candles to hide the horrible smell. The bugs were horrible, as soon as we opened the side onto the patio hundreds of bugs flew in... Only a couple of the slot machines worked, none of the darts had tips to play darts, the pinball machine was out of order.. Outside fan was broken and so dirty, we cleaned the patio and chairs before they were useable... I attempted contacting the host with concerns, but she did not answer or call back until the day we were leaving.. We made it work, but know that this place is a little rough..

Jamie, thank you for your review. We now have changed the cleaning detergent to Pine Sol for the tiled floors. Still smells, but at least they are clean. Can't stop the knats in October. They are very important for the river environment. Food for the fishing industry. They are gone after a month or so. There are six slot machines in the house. Two currently don't work. The Pin Ball machine does work, just need to push the power button underneath, where I have put a sign to turn on. There is no outside fan, unless you are referring to the bug zapper, we have outside. It does have a tendancy to get dirty. It also has a fan noise but helps to keep the patio clear of the bugs. I am trying to keep all our renters happy. I appreciate reviews, so I can hear my customers complaints and fix it. Vickey

Had a great stay the house. Each room had its own bathroom which every one appreciated. The place was clean and tidy. The games inside worked and were a lot of fun. The back sand on the river was the best. Sadly the river didn’t get deep enough to enjoy till around 2pm due to the damn not opening it up until late. Over alll the stay was great!

Something for everyone.
House was incredible. There was something for everyone to do. The location is perfect and views are out of this world. They had plenty of towels and the kitchen was well stocked. Matresses were kind of uncomfortable. We hadn't realized that there is no direct access to launch from the house, but there was a launch at the end of the road so it worked out well. Check in was super easy and leaving was even easier. We are in love with this house and can't wait to come back.

Great vacation home
Vickey was an amazing host. The house was so much bigger than the pictures show. The beach area was perfect for setting out chairs and relaxing in the water. The rooms are extremely spacious so everyone can fit comfortably. I was impressed by the towel collection that Vickey had and the convenience of having a washer and dryer was a great assets. This house has everything you could ever need for a large family to fit and enjoy the river. The view is amazing especially early mornings. I cannot wait to go back!

Property was great for mtiple families. Plenty of space, bedrooms and bathrooms. Games were great for kids (and adults too). Would definitely recommend if you want an affordable place to stay on the water.

Great time with the family
We celebrated my Mom's birthday with our whole family. It was great to be right on the river, the kids were able to play on the beach and fish. Having all the games inside kept them well entertained as well. It was a well stocked rental and had everything we needed. The best part was the proximity to grocery store and restaurants which were short drive/walking distance. We would stay there again.

Absolutely amazing! My family and I have an annual trip every year to Laughlin. This was the first year we rented a house. The house had so many activities for the kiddos and the adults. Pool table, ski hockey, pinball and even slots. Best part definitely was the beach front river. Little ones enjoyed playing in the shallow water. Already planning on rebooking for next year. The owner Vickie was very friendly and able to help with any needs if needed. I highly recommend this home.

Birthday Getaway
This property is quite amazing. We liked it so much we wanted to come back the following month and do the exact same getaway but it was already booked for obvious reasons... everyone else felt the same way. In the heat of summer it's a little warm upstairs in the bedrooms but if you turn the ceiling fans on that problem is solved. They've thought of virtually everything! From a feet tub to wash off your feet after being on the beach, to an awesome pinball machine and slot machines to add to the fun. I think my favorite part was the really great and large kitchen table that became our spot for game night every night. We'll be back (if we can find a spot!)

PERFECT HOUSE FOR OUR GROUP
This house is perfect for families with children. You can safely play on your private beach and float down the river in the "no wake" zone. The house is the perfect set up for privacy and for sleeping, but who wants to sleep, YOU ARE ON VACATION!

The spot!
if you want a true river experience this is the place to go! I don't think you'll find a better spot along the Colorado river. The neighborhood is beautiful and the neighbors are very friendly. Lots of parking. The beach is amazing because its right inside the no wake zone and is protected by an island which makes it completely safe for kids to enjoy without the worries of people speeding by. Vicki was an absolute perfect host and the house was stunning to say the least. All in all we will be going back for sure:) stop searching now and save your self the hassle....book it and get on the water!

Weekend Getaway!
House was nice, tons of room! Kitchen was stocked with anything you'll need (other than food lol)! HUGE kitchen table that we were all able to sit around for meals. Lot's of entertainment inside and out. The Slot machines were a hit (especially since we have been on lock down for 2 months!) I would recommend water shoes while down by the water. We all had a great time, will definitely be returning :)
