”Room itself was clean but certain areas were in need of maintenance and basic cleaning. The coffee pot is located in the bathroom:/ The door on the backside of the building does not require a key card and was not locked when we returned to our room very late that night. Someone could literally walk straight in from that door and go straight up to the floors. The lack of security at that entrance was bothersome to me. ”

”112 has mold in the air conditioner and some random white powder on the hair dryer. The floor was so dirty that after your shower, if you walked on it barefoot, your feet would turn black. Our other room was fine besides the floors. The lady at the desk was rude. There was 5 of us splitting 3 towels and we went and asked for more. She told us to “make sure they were all there” when we left as if we wanted to steal some low quality towels? Girl, bye! I got better towels at home. That is not a...

”I’m typically not a person who leaves a bad review…. But this was BAD. Our room smelled like a toilet. No water pressure in the shower. The breakfast was awful. The tables to eat breakfast were dirty. No one there wiping them off between people eating. The pool had so much chlorine it made my son sick because he couldn’t breathe. Horrible. Will pay more money elsewhere and drive further. Don’t recommend. ”

”The hotel needs an upgrade, I love Fairfield typically. The shower was very outdated and was hard to operate. The walls throughout the hotel and doors were very runned down. The breakfast was not great compared to what they typically have and the pool was closed! Without any warning. Also trains go by all night woke up at 11am 4am and 6 because of it not sure they can help that but wouldn't stay here again. Also smelled of weed on the first floor by the elevators. For $200 a night it's shameful...

”It was cold during our stay and although we turned the heat up the room remained cold. The temperature must have been preset to a maximum number. That was disappointing. The room was clean and we had a nice view. The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good and the staff at the coffee shop were kind and helpful. There is an upgrade charge for a referegator and a microwave, which is standard in every other hotel/motel we have stayed. I don't feel there should be an upgrade charge...

”They offer you candy when checking in. I must have looked at a different place to stay and accepted this one by mistake. Expedia had us wanting a smoking room? The room was clean but had a strange smell. It has only a space heater for heat. It is supposed to drop in the teens tonight. There is a unit in it that is supposed to be a heat/air conditioner that does not heat. Was charged $150.00 deposit incase we smoked in the room or for incidentals. Which we had no idea about! ”We were greeted promptly and courteously. Our reservation was in place as we expected. That part was fine. But our room was simply unacceptable. There was an odor in the hallways that smelled stale. Unpleasant. But finding food (crushed poptarts and raw pasta) in the drawers was gross. But even worse was when we found food crumbs in the bed. The room was in need of a big upgrade. Quite frankly, we will not be back when we are in the area again.”
