âThe hotel was a bit dated but immaculately clean. I had a warm double bed, wall mounted TV, en suite shower room that looked new. Tea, coffee and biscuits.
The breakfast was the best Iâd ever had, including at 5* hotels. Freshly cooked for each person. Everything supplied for a full English including fresh juice, eggs, bacon, sausage, tomatoes, beans, cereal. I really loved my stayâ

âEverything was as we expected. Great staff, friendly bar and a great steak night. Not forgetting a fabulous breakfast. The only negative were the impressive bird droppings on my windscreen after I made the mistake of parking under the trees in the car park. Long journey to Tesco Wellingborough to find a car wash!â

âI have stayed at hundreds of hotels and this is by far the best, helpful, friendly and professional staff, room spotless as expected. The facilities were also very nice, the spa and restaurant were exceptional. But the biggest thing is the historic building itself, what a place, will !00% be returning when we need a country escape!â
