”My 27 year old son and I came to visit Donegal, the ancestral home of his father’s family. We spent 2 nights and thoroughly enjoyed Buncrana. We drove up to Malin Head through stunning scenery and visited sites in and around Buncrana. Julie was a kind and accommodating host. The property was well appointed with comfortable beds and a full kitchen on the outskirts of Buncrana. ”This house was a great base for our family trip to Donegal. The large travel cot & high chair came in very handy. It was cosy and comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked with utensils etc. and there was plenty of room for us all to eat and sit together. The location was excellent, just a short walk to Killahoey beach or into Dunfanaghy. We all agreed it was a winner. Only complaint was it seemed like a few small repairs are needed - one of the windows and one of the showers.”

”Beautiful house, very high level of finish, very clean, great sized rooms. All the utensils you need and good oitdoor space. All rooms ensuite, high quality beds, bedding and nice towels supplied.. Easy flat 10-minute walk into Clonmany village, 5 minutes to local large convenience store (Centra). Easy drive to Ballyliffin Golf Club and 10 minute drive to local beaches. Local taxi facility available.”

”The Hideaway is a treasure! The pictures cannot capture how cool and special this place is! We stayed in the house which was very comfortable for our family of 4. We enjoyed the hot tub and the Shebeen. Truly the best part of the stay was the incredible hospitality of our hosts, Grainne and Pat and their family. Highest recommendation for the Hideaway!”

”House was clean ( 4 big spiders but they don't count) GREAT view, instructions everywhere so we worked out how everything worked, only thing missing I would say was a T-bag squeezer lol We'd go back in a heartbeat. :) ”
