”Great dog friendly room and pub to visit. We only stayed one night - it was a nice location from the new forest. Dinner was delicious, my partner said it was perhaps the best pie he’s ever had, and the included breakfast was well worth it. Only suggested improvement could be a new carpet for the room, but this is always tricky for a dog friendly room. ”

”Fabulous stay - loved it! Breakfast hamper was absolutely wonderful, though we couldn’t eat it all. Plenty of parking. Key code entry gives more flexibility as to arrival times, which suited us as we were spending the day and having dinner with friends so didn’t arrive till late. Brilliant one night break, will return without a doubt, and have already recommended to friends.”

”Beautiful, cosy 14th century inn with rooms. Picture postcard perfect and in a great location for walks and a short drive to Tisbury High Street. Food in the pub was excellent as was choice of drinks. Plenty of car parking right opposite”

”We had a great stay here. The room was quiet and spacious, with plenty of storage plus a table and 2 bucket chairs as well as a dressing table and chair. The bed was comfy, and the bathroom was bright with a good sized shower including a rainfall as well as a shower hose. The breakfast was also excellent. The staff were helpful too.”

”This is my second stay and I wouldn’t hesitate to stay again. The room was spotless. I really liked having a fridge in the room with fresh milk and water. The room was quiet and comfortable. I like the self-service breakfast. This suited me as I wanted to be up and out. There was a good choice of cereals, bread for toast, yoghurts and fruit. A lovely B & B :) ”
