”What a lovely place, check in was nice & easy & the receptionist was very welcoming & friendly. We had a drink in the pub & all staff were super friendly, especially the lad who was also on check out this morning! We didn’t have breakfast as we went to my parents house nearby & my dad cooked for us 😊”

”This hotel is absolutely stunning. Beautiful rooms and the location is superb for the town of Harrogate. Staff are wonderful and so helpful. Breakfast is amazing with everything you could possibly need. Bed was first class and so unbelievably comfortable. Nothing was too much trouble. ”Lovely historic building with a nod to the past in the internal character but with an overall modern feel within the rooms. Comfy bed, clean bathroom and a safety deposit box and toiletries which made this a lovely room. Would have liked a better view, we were in room 145 at the back of the property and tbe coffee/tea tray was on a unit where there wasnt a plug so had to keep moving the entire tray to the dressing table when using the kettle. ”My daughter’s , grandchildren and I stayed at Morton House for 2 nights whilst visiting the Polar Express (15 minutes drive away). The house was large , warm and welcoming. Children had a ball chasing each other around . Beds are extremely comfortable with quality bedding . Everyone slept very well . Perfect location , visited local churches and park , walked by the river .. Communication from host,, Michelle, was excellent. she even downloaded Polar Exoress film on Sky so the kids could watch...
