”Enjoyed a 2 nite stay here while attending CATF theatre festival in Shepherdstown. Enjoyed the outdoor hottub after biking on C&O Canal towpath, and fantastic country breakfasts. Views to the west over Antietam battlefields are spectacular! Hosts couldn’t have been more welcoming, including the talking parrot! ”
”This hotel appears to be fairly new and as of July 2025 is sparkly in its cleanliness and appearance. The most outstanding part of this short stay, however, was the staff, which down to a member, was cheerful, professional, helpful, and accommodating. Upon our request, they even directed us to a great dive bar in the area! Management, whatever you need to do - keep these people! I would gladly stay here again”
