”Cosy room. Clean bedding but the mattress sagged towards the middle which might have made 2 people sleeping in it uncomfortable”

We ate in the restaurant one night, the food was well presented, but the pork belly was over cooked and the chips were over salted. We also asked for the coffee tray to be cleaned & refreshed. Someone had come in, left a large bag of tea/coffee sachets in the room, but not cleaned the cups & tray - I assume they got distracted & didn't finish the job.”

”Staff were excellent and friendly. Pub was welcoming and inviting. Breakfast cooked to order and very nice. Now for the room. No5 a bit dated but spacious. Bed was very firm but could feel every spring in the mattress. Shower pressure abysmal and scalding to start. Had to use a lot of force just to get the dial round to get the cold water flowing and still low pressure. Some say adds character, I’d say it lacked comfort. ”
