”The property and staff were nice. Only complaint was that the room was not available at 4:00 check-in so we had to wait for it to be cleaned.”

”We had a problem when we first got there. Our key card would not work and we were fighting with the door for about 10 mins. Boyfriend went to go get another key and I see a woman peeking out from behind the curtain in the window. I asked her if she was staying in that room and she came to the door and we spoke. Felt terrible because we woke her. Boyfriend comes back around the corner with the original key card and the person behind the desk only to find out that yes that room was already given...

”This is a beautiful location for a hotel! The scenery was awesome and the grounds were perfect for walking my dog. There was lots of shade and Spanish moss in the oak trees, with a perfect view of the marsh and tidal creek. Staff were super helpful and made us welcome with our pet!!”

”It’s last resort stay place needs remodeling”

”I have good things to say about the motel itself. My one negative is not about Best Western itself, but just an FYI...check before you go. We were there June of 2026 and there are a lot of roads torn up all around the motel due to redoing pipes. The water was shut off about 10 or 10:30 at night, not sure for how long. It was back on in the morning. However the motel itself is in a great location on Bay Street. It is nothing fancy, but if you are on a budget it is clean, rooms have microwaves and...

”This is a great value stay on Island. I particularly enjoy the fridge/freezer so I can refreeze the ice packs for my cooler. The bed is very comfortable and the rooms are very clean and spacious. I've stayed several times with no complaints.”

”The air conditioner was terrible, we ended up having to buy our own fan. It was dirty, air conditioning units piled up outside our room. Very muggy inside the building.”

”We had a delightful stay. The Inn is within easy walking distance from restaurants and a lovely town park, and it has lovely views of the inlet. The building itself is gorgeous and our room was delightfully furnished, decorated, and appointed. The staff were kind and attentive. Excellent experience!”

”The property was nice and pet friendly. However the day of check out they were having the water worked on which threw off my plans for that morning. Couldn’t swim or go to the beach because I was not able to come back and shower. Everything else went well during the trip.”

”Staff at check-in and check out were rude. No sign on door stating no pets were allowed in this area. My dog was carried the entire time but staff were super critical and hyper focused on her presence. Talking to us in a condescending way. The pet fee was $90. Won't stay here again.”
