Lomamökit – Burton-in-Kendal

”It’s a 10/10 for me. Clean, spacious and it’s got everything you need during your stay. Location is also superb.”

”Had a lovely time at Cross cottage. It was a lovely quiet location but only 5 min drive to Kirkby Lonsdale for restaurants pubs and shops. Great for all the Yorkshire dales hills and villages. Garden to the cottage was well maintained and relaxing. Good Wi-Fi and free sat too. Shower was super powerful . Always a bonus. Only improvement would be curtains over French doors now the darker nights are coming back for added privacy and cosy feel. Would definitely book again n this cottage and this...

”Perfect location for a family get-together. The cottage is very spacious and well equipped and the grounds are beautiful. Kerith and Daryl were excellent hosts.”

”This is an excellent house in superb state of repair with very good quality furniture. It is very well equipped and spotlessly clean. The booking process was simple and Martin Wardle of the agents was extremely helpful. The house is situated in a village which is very near Kendal, the lakes and just over one hour to the Solway coast. There are some very good dining places in the area with our favourite being The Watermill Inn which has its own micro brewery producing very tasty beers. All in all...

”Had a lovely time at April Cottage in Settle”

”Wonderful set up at The Lodge. Perfect for a romantic getaway or a small family break. All the mod cons, particularly liked the electric window blinds. Kitchen facilities was excellent and more than adequate. We also took our own coffee machine for that extra home comfort. Location was pretty central for the places we wanted to visit. Windermere was only 40 minutes away with stunning views of the country side on route. Hot Tube was a lovely touch and well maintainedAll in all a lovely break away...

”A lovely cottage in a great location.”

”Good”

”Lovely quiet location on the edge of Cartmel with good road connections to the tourist areas of the Lakes. The place was spotless and well equipped but they really do only include bedding, towels and loo roll. Whatever else you need make sure you take it with you. It lacked hanging space for clothes in the bedroom and any place to put your cases. We were surprised it was a semi detached building, we could hear a lot of noise, especially doors closing in the attached unit. I would still recommend...

”Everything was ideal with this property and if you want to walk into Cartmel it’s also close enough to do so… it does seem a lot longer walking back from Cartmel however after you have sampled the excellent local ales 😬”

”We had a great stay at 112 Balmoral - Ali was very helpful and answered all my questions. He even left us ice pops in the freezer due to hot weather which went down a treat!! Very close to the beach and a nice quiet area with plenty of parking spaces.”

”It was a lovely location, a great place for a weekend getaway for couples. ”

”Perfect location for walking and chilling.”

”Great central location so easy to walk everywhere in Kendal - ideal for out party who could then nip to shops, out for meals etc. Lovely property top to bottom. And a nice welcome gift for us too. Thank you to the hosts.”
