”This place was awful. There were not one but two HUGE roaches in our room. One at the entrance of the room and one in the shower. These weren’t regular roaches. They were on steroids. The floor was filthy and nothing about this place said clean or safe or comfortable. The only good thing is that it’s super close to the freeway.”

”Very much enjoyed the stay here especially the retro decor. The room was very spacious and clean. Dinner was good breakfast was fairly good. The bar area was fun and lively, The cocktails were good as well”

”We typically stay here when going through Bakersfield because the staff is friendly, the rooms are clean and the food is good. And usually we leave a 5 star rating. However, this time our king-size bed was quite disappointing. It was beyond soft. It was more like a beanbag or hammock—way below Hampton’s standards. Paying $200 for the night, one would expect a very comfortable bed commiserate with the price, rather than being uncomfortable and constantly having to adjust your body.”

”Good, safe hotel with a big room! Good complimentary breakfast, only minus on the breakfast was that everyone seemed to come to eat at the game time so there was not enough room for us to sit in. They refilled the hot food items fast! Friendly service and check-in and out was fast. Would stay in here again, thank you!”

”Rooms were clean, parking was little uncomfortable based on what rooms were assigned. Breakfast options for vegetarians were limited and you needed to select any 1 option out of 5 available options. On first day, one of option which had milk, cereal was not available or out of stock. Due to this, Kid can only have fruit bowl. The breakfast is done at near by restaurant. Gated parking at hotel”

”Lady at front desk was very welcoming and sweet. Very easy to check in and out. Very clean! Plenty of parking.”
