”We stayed at the Peak Hotel for 3 nights & unfortunately did not have a positive experience. While the property is exactly as advertised—a charming historic building with a pub downstairs—it feels more like a pub with a few guest rooms than a traditional hotel. After check-in, there was very little interaction or hospitality from staff. Our biggest issue was Room #1, which is located directly beside the pub’s outdoor patio. ”Loved my stay! The staff was super friendly and nice, felt very welcomed. The room was comfortable and clean. Parking was easy and convenient. The breakfast was perfect, I also dinned in the restaurant and loved everything. Banana Toffee Waffle dessert is well worth the calories!”

”Our stay was a journey down memory lane for me. The hotel was still lovely and popular, the room was clean and albeit small as a twin, it was in keeping with such a historic building and the lady on the bar, who checked us in couldn’t be more welcoming. The kitchen even catered amazingly for a veggie and a vegan option breakfast. The hotel is centrally located for the beautiful village of Eyam’s history trail, tea rooms and local walks with good parking facilities. ”

”My wife & I stayed at the Beeley Inn last night, everything about the stay was really good from the check in, the outdoor drinking areas, the dinner and the breakfast. The room was not massive but it was absolutely fine. The staff were always very friendly and polite. Definitely worth another trip. The breakfast was superb.”

The owner and staff outdid themselves with welcoming us later in the evening and making sure to seat us in the quite lovely dining room for a hot meal before retiring to our spacious guest room upstairs. The room was today and had lots of thoughtful amenities: tea, coffee, a variety of snacks, lots of toiletries. Breakfast was very good and served with warmth and hospitality. Definitely a wonderful place to stay. ”
