”Lake House is a beautiful property in an idyllic location. Close enough to the village for essentials but beautiful and quiet. The kids had a great time in the gardens as did our family dog. The house has everything you could require with so much space and both indoor and outdoor dining options. We loved sitting out of an evening enjoying the ever changing view and sunset.”

”Despite poor weather with lots of rain, my sister and I (with our 2 dogs) had a most delightful relaxing stay in Rossbeigh cottages.The house was comfortable ,spotlessly clean and well equipped . It had the most wonderful sea views from every window.The owner/manager was warm , friendly and welcoming.We will definitely be returning !!!!”

”Come for the views, stay for the peace and quiet. If you're looking for the "Irish farm house feel" this is the one! Nestled deep in the countryside on a hill overlooking where Atlantic ocean meets ths Kenmare river. Walking into the house made feel like I was at my Grandparents home (in idaho). We loved it. Would move here in a heartbeat We thouroghly enjoyed "Nan’s hotel". We are already planning a return visit.”

”The cottage was spacious and great for four friends staying together for a week of walking in Co Cork. All the needs that are required ie. towels, sheets, kitchen utensils etc, were there. The kitchen was fully supplied with dishwasher tablets and a washing machine working perfectly. It's a 10 min drive from Castletownbere so no walking to the nearest pub/restaurant. A taxi ride to go into town. A beautiful location and a lovely spot to have time away from it all. I'd definitely go back ”

”We had three generations from the age of eighteen months to 63 staying at Castle View House. Eileen was a tremendous host. She made sure that everyone was accommodated, right down to a highchair and changing table for the baby. The house is beautiful, and it is located only a short walk to town, where there are pubs, restaurants and shopping.Highly recommended for a family stay in Ireland.”
