The Space:

Located in the heart of Playa Chiquita, just 650 meters from the beach, Up House is a tropical retreat designed for travelers seeking comfort, privacy, and an authentic Caribbean experience surrounded by nature.



The main house features two cozy bedrooms, one with a king bed and the other with a queen bed, both equipped with AC and flat-screen TVs with Chromecast. The home also offers one bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen, and an open living and dining area that connects seamlessly with the tropical garden and private pool, creating a bright and relaxing atmosphere.



Bath and beach towels are provided. The dining area includes a Bluetooth speaker, and the terrace features a hammock — perfect for relaxing while enjoying the sounds of the jungle and the peaceful Caribbean atmosphere.



Up House shares the property with Mini Up!, a second private rental home for two guests. Both houses share the main entrance and parking area, but they are separated by a lush vertical bromeliad garden and have independent entrances, allowing privacy and comfort for all guests.



The property features dedicated symmetrical fiber optic internet, ideal for remote work, as well as a 24/7 security system for added peace of mind during your stay.



Nature is part of the experience. During your stay, it’s common to spot howler monkeys, sloths, toucans, oropendolas, blue morpho butterflies, green macaws, and agoutis visiting the garden daily, making every morning feel magical.

Guest Access:

Guests will have full private access to Up House, including the private pool, tropical garden areas surrounding the house, outdoor terrace, fully equipped kitchen, living and dining spaces, and private bedrooms.



The property entrance and parking area are shared with Mini Up House, another private vacation rental located on the same property. Both homes are separated by tropical gardens and have independent entrances, allowing guests to enjoy privacy and a peaceful atmosphere throughout their stay.



The Neighborhood:

Playa Chiquita is one of the most beautiful areas in Puerto Viejo, known for its lush tropical nature, wildlife, boutique restaurants, and relaxed Caribbean atmosphere.



Up House is surrounded by nature and conveniently located near restaurants, cafés, supermarkets, and some of the most beautiful beaches in the area. Please note that the road where the house is located does not have direct beach access. To reach Playa Chiquita beach, guests will need to return to the main road and access the beach from the public entrances nearby.



The area is perfect for exploring the Caribbean lifestyle, enjoying the beaches, spotting wildlife such as sloths and monkeys, and discovering the local food scene.



Getting Around:

Just a few minutes from Up House, you will find restaurants, cafés, supermarkets, and some of the most beautiful beaches in the South Caribbean area.



The best way to explore the area is by car, bicycle, or scooter, as Puerto Viejo and its beaches are spread along the main road. Taxi, Uber, and tuk tuk services are also available in the area.



The property includes parking for 1 vehicle. In addition, the fiber optic internet makes the property a great option for guests working remotely.
