”If you want to unplug a bit and get away this is the place. Very clean cabins. Kitchen had everything you need. Nice sitting area outside with a grill. Very quiet and relaxing with the Yuba River right there. Staff were extremely nice. Our dogs our now depressed we came home. Pretty sure they thought it was our new home. ”

”Right across the street from the lake with gorgeous views from the kitchen table -- we fell in love with Donner Lake! The cabin was comfortable, but rustic as you'd expect for a mountain lake cabin (eg some damage to floors, janky interior doors, kitchen table wobbly). Dealing with Vacasa as a renter instead of an actual owner is always less personal and more commericalized ... eg they were happy to offer late check out, if we paid an additional fee$$ But overall we loved the location, there...

”This little cabin was in an ideal getaway spot close to hiking trails and perfectly situated in the mountains. Be aware that it is a mountain cabin. Everything works, and everything is clean, but it is a rustic. Specifically, there are tricks to getting a hot shower, but don't give up the water heater does work. They just did a whole bunch of improvements, and it made the cabin very comfortable. This is a mountain gem, and I couldn't recommend it more.”

”We had a family gathering and thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. The house is very well maintained and stocked. Having so many bathrooms was a nice luxury. Communication with the property manager was smooth as he always responded quickly, and we didn't have to do all the cleaning that other properties require (just taking trash to garage). I would definitely recommend this property and would rent it again.”

”It’s hard to find a comfy house that allows dogs, so we are glad we found this one! The house is HUGE. 3 floors so if you don’t do stairs well maybe re think this house. We didn’t mind the stairs at all. The house was super warm when we used the central heater and they provide a space heater for every room. ”This property was great, our family was very happy with the house. The West End Beach is only 2 min drive from the house and a fabulous place to hang out for the day on Donner Lake with bathrooms and picnic tables and a playground for the kids. There is a very small beach across the street but it is very rocky and was hard for the little kids. There is a fishing dock right across the street and it was a fun place for the kids to catch crawdads. Over all our family gives this house a 5 star...
