”Small but comfortable and clean room. As it is historic and old building atmoaphere was incredible, but it wont have the new big windows in the room etc. But beautiful, comfortable stay”

”Very tired hotel! Geo thermal pool is not geo thermal. Rooms are untidy and dirty. We had ‘willies’ drawn in to the bathroom mirror. Screws in the wall but paintings in the wardrobe. ?? Carpet was dirty and other guests rubbish still on the floor. Curtain rail was broken and hanging off the ceiling so curtain would not shut properly. Spa was very tatty. We were told on checkout that the hotel had only recently been purchased and was being renovated but that was not advertised. If you are going...

”I highly recommend this hotel. Very friendly and professional staff. Every member of staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome. An excellent choice of breakfasts included in the price. The restaurant was excellent in the evenings. The location is fantastic with wonderful views of the beautiful Peak countryside.”

”The tv in the room didn’t work I called reception they said someone was on the way up to the room - they never came Peacock out side the room all night and morning squawking and people running up and down the corridors all night ”

”Great hotel, love it, love it, love it! Great facilities i.e. pool, sauna, rooms, bar, gym, toilets. Price competitive to others in the area. Quiet, clean, lovely beds and carpets, great views and central to restaurants. Only thing to improve is to have breakast a bit ealier, otherwise, great hotel, super recommended and will stay again for sure.”
