Initially difficult to communicate with the "owner" via VRBO just to get an address, but got it finally. Made me a little nervous. ”You cannot go wrong staying at Manny’s place. It is a short walk to the beach, which has great views and short drive to most vineyards and restaurants. The property itself is beautiful, and there is a private entrance to the rental, which is very roomy, immaculate, and you get a welcome bottle of local wine and hopefully you get Amal’s cookies and chocolate. Check-in was super easy and communication with hosts was seamless. We didn't get to explore RIverhead very much due to wedding festivities, but the house is close to downtown.”

”First the positives, it was clean and it had everything needed for us. It was just two of us, I think any more than 2 two and it would be small. We were in town for the holiday and did not spend a lot of time in the rental. It was well equipped and safe. As others have said, I didn't realize it was a basement apartment until we arrived and I looked closely at the listing. ”Last minute booking, went smoothly, had a hard time with room key card ( room 111). Kept clicking and blinking green, but door knob wouldn’t budge. Desk clerk said to pull door tight and push down hard on the handle. Wasn’t a solution. Just kept playing with it until the door handle finally moved. Same issue in the morning after I returned from getting breakfast. Big king bedroom , quiet and dark as you want it to be for sleeping!”
