”We reserved for the view which was everything we thought it would be and more. We found that above all, the staff was the best! We felt at home. We have someone who cant walk far or manged the holls and they carted us to and from the other areas of the hotel! They arranged activites and gave us the Pura Vita vibe!”

”We visited Monteverde in the end of our vacation and it was definitely the right decision. Service was very polite and friendly. Rooms were clean and large, but cold, especially at nights. I think this was the best hotel for our purpose to visit the Monteverde forest area and there were also easy bus connections to Santa Elena. Food in the hotel restaurant was delicious!”

”Room was smaller than expected but it was clean. TV did not have cable but Netflix and Prime video so more than ample. Dining staff were world class and meals well presented. If a person is handicapped some of the walkway could be an issue with the grade. Front desk staff (starts with an M) was quick efficient and a terrific representative for the accommodation. Overall We liked this place. The roads were a bit of a challenge but just take your time and you will be fine. I would certainly...

”We stayed here two nights in July and enjoyed our stay. First of all, the customer service is superb! The lady in the reception was super friendly and had great knowledge of the trips and things to do in the area. She also arranged us very good transportation to the Nicaraguan border with few phone calls whereas the guy in the tourist information in the centre of Santa Elena clearly wasn't aware of the proper options. ”We loved our stay at Hotel Poco a Poco! The location is perfect—close to town but still peaceful—and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful with recommendations. Our room was clean and cozy, and the restaurant served excellent meals. The only downside was that the pool and jacuzzi were under renovation during our visit, but everything else more than made up for it. Highly recommended for a Monteverde stay!”
