”Home was in a good location, easy to get into Canberra central and local shops. House itself is looking it's age, although comfortable. Kitchen was ok but limited utensils and cooking items were also looking aged. Beds are comfortable, shower works well. This could be a lovely place to stay but just felt like the owner didn't want to put a lot of effort into it. No basic supplies in kitchen, no hairdryer, which you would normally get staying in a home on Stayz.”

”Quirky house, that took some getting used to, i did contact the agent/ owner the day before to say there was an extra adult , so as it was 3 bedrooms, there didnt seem to be any problems ? But only 2 rooms were made available, so the 3rd person decided to sleep on the couch. The slide bolts on the outside of the bedroom doors was unsettling as well. Not sure about the chickens in the front yard? And we were concerned about snakes, i did need to give the birds water on a couple of occasions, and...

”The property was perfect for our group of 5 couples. A very interesting house in a great location and with plenty of room. Air conditioning was great for a cold weekend. Unfortunately you weren’t permitted to have a drink or walk on the carpet which ruled out using the lounge room, so all our time was spent in the tiled dining room. Also more linen would have been appreciated.”

”We had never done anythibg like this before, it was wonderful, no stress, everything worked etc., towels and linen were provided, Lovely quiet spot, lovely home. Worked winderfully for 4 adults and a 2yo. We had a confusion with the hot stove and Les gave us a call to help us straight away ehich was lovely of him.”

”We needed a larger property in Canberra at short notice to accommodate family members coming together from around the country and overseas. The Watson property is in a quiet neighborhood with shops and a nice cafe a short walk away. The property can house a lot of guests and the self contained separate flat is a nice bonus providing a separate space for two people. The property has a great back yard, a well equipped kitchen and lots of different seating areas. Overall the Watson property was...
