”I really liked the hotel but shower temperature was too hot, shower gel was out completely and obviously didnt notice until in the shower, ice machine on our floor was out of order, prior guest's clothes on floor of bathroom. Contacted front desk re shower gel and hot water, but no one came to room to rectify. ”

”A lovely place to stop on my way to Gulf Shores. The owners were helpful and friendly, the breakfast was delicious and unassuming, and the location was central to everything I needed. There was off-street parking, so I didn't have to worry about my car, and I felt safe there as a solo female traveler.”

”Hotel in a great location. You can already see that the hotel is quite old. But it didn't bother us. The service was good and we had a good time. Take a room with a sea view. it's wonderful.”

”This is a converted church which means the rooms are not standardized and your experience might depend on which room you are assigned. The hotel has good beds and linens, but small rooms ( or some are at least) a very poor, loud, AC system, poor cleaning, very poor sound proofing of rooms. It really depends on the price point you pay. These rooms can be as much as $400. They are worth 1/2 that amount. If you are paying at that 1/2 rate, then maybe an OK proposition. For example in...

”The property is gorgeous, however, they could give you more details than they do. For instance, we opened the room with no instruction, no directories, no anything. The electrical outlets in the kitchen mostly did not work. I tried to use the Keurig and ran it through a few times and it was the most disgusting thing I have seen. Thank goodness, I did bring my own Keurig.. If you like a really really hard bed than you would love this one. I could hardly sleep and when I did get up my back was...

”Room was nice and clean and hotel was perfect walking distance to our show at the bay center. We are at the restaurant and ordered a burger, kids chicken and macaroni and the appetizer dumplings. The dumplings were good, everything else was pretty bad. I would suggest eating somewhere else if you want more than just a drink.”
