VILLA CLASSICA sijaitsee kauniilla ja vilkkaalla Luccan kaupungin ulkopuolella Marlian kylän keskustassa, jossa on monia kauppoja ja tiloja ympäri. Hotellissa on pieni intiimi omaisuus, jossa on kasvihuone, jossa on valtavat ikkunat, joista on näkymät uima-altaalle.

Kun olet rentoutunut puutarhapäässä lounaaksi Marlian, Segromignon, Ponte a Morianon kukkuloiden suosikkipaikalla. Voit jopa ajaa Pisaan 25 minuutissa tai rannalle 25/30 minuutissa, tai jopa Cinque Terreen alle 1 tunnissa. What a FABULOUS VILLA!! We had everything one could need We spent most of our timein the glass enclosed dining area- just awesome! GREAT location!!! 10 min to Lucca and train station which takes you everywhere! Really lovely owners lived across the street!

The villa was amazing. We spend 5 days with 6 adults and 3 children. - lots of space - the villa is huge - lovely garden, Terrasse and pool - kitchen has everything, bathroom is tidy You need a car, there are not much restaurants in walking distance.

Villa Ricordi Is Magical

The villa was absolutely lovely! Incredible decor ( I took pictures of all the beautiful floor patterns) and very spacious for our group of 6. What would have made it better was better cookware and knives-we had a chef in our party and he was disappointed. I would also say that groups looking for privacy might consider that the villa is not that private, especially with the owners across the street.

An incredible stay at Villa Ricordi

We had an incredible stay at the villa. The host was super on top of it whenever we had questions, we felt like they were fully available for us and that is very valuable. The house is really massive, much bigger than we expected! Almost every room has a welcome area and even a doorbell to ring. We recommend you follow the house-guide for restaurants and tips, they really suggest the best of ideas. We were a group of 8 people and it was perfect for us.

What a wonderful Villa, lots space, bedrooms were like a little bedsit. With sitting areas, own bathroom, what more do you need. Outside space beautiful and a wonderful pool. Had a great family holiday 7 plus 3 year old. Shop and bakers next to Villa and supermarket 5 minute drive away. Eva the ice cream shop, is one of the best I have had. Some extra tables by the pool area, and plastic glasses for around the pool.

his house is AMAZING. I cannot rave enough. Beautifully renovated inside and out.

We have had the most amazing week at Villa Ricordi. Such a stunning house which has been beautifully renovated and is equipped with everything you need. The pool and garden are gorgeous and the glass dining room that is separate to the house is an amazing space for lovely evening meals. It was also great that we were super close to a supermarket. Marlia is a great location for day trips to Lucca, Pisa, Florence, Cinque Terra and Tirrenia to name a few. Highly recommend staying here. 5+ stars from us. (And if you are looking for a place to dine at while you are in the area then check out Serendepico which is about a 10 min drive away. Delicious for dinner. )

We had an amazing time in this beautiful house. The owners were so helpful and friendly, they made check in very easy and if we had any queries throughout our stay they had a very quick response to help us. They gave us some great recommendations on where to go and left some brochures on different places which were very helpful! The house is amazing, it had everything and more we could have expected. Everything was so clean and the attention to detail was amazing. We would definitely recommend this property, it is very suitable for families. There is loads of space for everyone. Loved every minute in the house and the surrounding areas.

The “Tuscan 6” stayed here for the past 11 nights. The house was very homey and comfortable. We really enjoyed using the glass house multiple times during our stay. We had most everything we needed. We had hoped there would be better access for walking to restaurants in Marlia as we didn’t have a car. However the streets were far busier than we expected and sidewalks seemed to be lacking quite often. But we made do and still had a wonderful visit. We met the home owners and they are wonderful people. Very kind.

Wonderful Experience

The Villa is lovely, quite roomy and comfortable both indoors and out. We certainly enjoyed our stay. The town of Marlia was fine for food and our other daily needs. There were also some sites to explore on foot in the area. Choosing a car service for our tours, we found that it was quite easy to see towns in Tuscany. The only thing that I would recommend is that a clothes dryer would be convenient for cloudy and rainy days. The property manager responded promptly to answer any questions and solve any issues that arose. We would recommend Villa Ricordi for any stay in the Lucca area.

Exceeded Expectations

Villa Ricordi and Daniella far exceeded all of our expectations! The Villa was absolutely stunning! We wouldn’t change anything about our stay except we all wished it was longer. We had day trips each day and regretted not saving a couple days just to enjoy the Villa. My kids surprised me with a private chef for dinner one evening which was perfect. Dining in the glassed dining room was like a dream. Nothing. The communication with Daniella and the owners was excellent and the Villa couldn’t be any more beautiful.

Everything was PERFECT

From the moment we arrived we felt welcome and everything was perfect - the location of the villa, the huge space, the communication with the owner, the tips for the surroundings and attractions nearby and also the recommendation for the chef Riccardo simoneti for a cooking class at the villa. The owner lives across the street and was very available for every question we had. The villa and especially the kitchen were very well equipped. The lady who showed us the villa was really patient to explain everything about it and also about the surroundings, leaving all kinds of recommendations and instructions. The moment we arrived we felt sorry we couldn't stay even longer!

High quality accomodation

Pefect accomodation with attention to detail second to none a real appreciation of detail to travellers needs. Glass house was beautitful to sit in and the pool just perfect. Just looking at the mountains from the windows will stay with you for ever. Local bakeries were excellent and Bandini's very friendly to have a meal or just coffee. We didnt have a car which woud have been an advantage to get to restaurants but the positive side is we went to Florence and Pisa via trains which are perfect once you get to the trains station in Lucca. Taxis on whole were good but some vared in price. Be aware we were asked at Pisa station if we had our passports on us, which I believe we should have, as from UK.

Exceptional property

Our stay at the Villa Ricordi was simply beautiful. The house is exceptional and it has everything you could possibly wish for. The pictures of the property that are online, although magnificent, can not show or describe the amount of love that has been put into this house. As a family, we appreciate the Italian way of life and this few days allowed us to taste the dolce vita that we were longing for. I also wish to thank the friendly owners for their hospitality and I hope that we will have the pleasure of staying in Villa Ricordi again. Grazie mille per tutto! We are aware that the plumbing in an older bigger house could be tricky but most of the time the water pressure in the bathrooms on the second floor was insufficient and it was not possible to take a shower, especially with both showers running at the same time. But, we used other bathrooms so we managed ) It could be a problem if all the rooms were occupied.

Absolutely stunning - just as pictured.

Perfect four a group of 8 adults. Comfortable, spacious and I loved the aesthetics. The owners of the home were lovely. There is an incredible bakery right next door and a fantastic gelato shop nearby. We had a wonderful stay. Would recommend renting cars. We hired a private chef and had them come to the house. I loved the Butterfly restaurant and the grocery store nearby. The only downside was the washing machine was small and outside and we weren’t given extra towels. We did not reach out to Lucca Villas about this because we were so busy with our itinerary. We stayed for 10 nights and I wish we would have added on the cleaning service prior to getting there. We never got around to doing that because we were so busy and then had to do the cleaning ourselves - and this was only a challenge because of the washing machine situation. There is also a complex trash/recycle/waste system and we had to go out and buy special bags for this.

Family-friendly retreat in Tuscany!

Our family of ten (six adults and four children) recently had the pleasure of staying at Villa Ricordi, and we couldn't be more satisfied with our experience. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and at home. The house itself was incredibly comfortable and spacious, perfectly accommodating our large group. Each room was nicely furnished, with attention to detail that made our stay both luxurious and cozy. The children spent countless hours splashing around in the pool, while the adults enjoyed lounging by the water, soaking up the Tuscan sun. A wonderful spot for family bonding and relaxation. The air conditioning was superb, which was much appreciated during the hotter days. It ensured that we all slept comfortably and stayed cool, making our stay even more enjoyable. In terms of location, Villa Ricordi is perfectly situated. A short drive brought us to the well-stocked supermarket Essalunga, making grocery runs quick and convenient. The villa also served as an excellent base for day trips, allowing us to explore the beautiful surrounding areas without any hassle. We extend our heartfelt thanks to Daniela at Luccaapartments and Villas for her assistance throughout our stay. A special thank you to Grazia, the owner, for providing such a wonderful home for our family vacation. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a family-friendly retreat in Tuscany. Some of the outdoor lounge furniture needs to be upgraded which also was confirmed by the owner and that replacements already had been ordered.

Lovely house, lovely location, lovely owner.

We loved the garden room, the views from the back, the historic nature of the house, the spacious bedroom suites and generous bathrooms, secluded pool area, comfortable beds, convenience of local shops and restaurants, quiet area, proximity to mountains, scenery, Villa Reale, Lucca. The house has numerous televisions and sitting rooms which we didnt need to use as we were a party of 6, but would be useful for different groups. We appreciated the supply of staples, coffee, water, paper towels etc. We received a very warm welcome from our host and the Lucca villas representative and we were most grateful when we got a slightly later check out at short notice. It was all in all a truly lovely villa. Nothing to do with the accommodation but the regulations regarding recyling were a problem. No doubt for locals, it s second nature but for visitors it was an ongoing hassle. I' m not exaggerating. We are very responsible people and we seemed to spend every evening discussing the bins, one or more of which went out every night. Sometimes we had to put out a bag in a bin, a bin without a bag or a bag without a bin. Multiple coloured bins and different types of bags and different instruction sheets had us confused. And what on earth is lady plastic? So more detailed instructions or photos of products would be a great assistance to overseas visitors.

We had an amazing week at the villa

We had an amazing week at the villa with a group of nine friends! The property is beautiful - the house is spacious and has many options for places to hang out, the separate second kitchen and dining room are lovely, and the pool is wonderful on hot summer days. The location is also close to wineries, local shops, and downtown Lucca, with Florence and Cinque Terre as easy day trips.
