Villa Venere 12 is located in a panoramic position on the hills of Lucca, among olive groves and shady woods.
Renovated to preserve all the original external features, the property has a swimming pool (7x14) with deck chairs, sun loungers and parasol, and is surrounded by a fenced garden, tended by a guardian.
In front of the villa there is a porch equipped with barbecue, dining table with chairs for 12 people and a comfortable sofa with armchairs.

Attractions
Villa Venere 12 is immersed in the typical hilly landscape of Tuscany, about 8 km away from Lucca, traditionally named the "city of a hundred churches" for the large number of places of worship within the city center.
In addition to Lucca, one of the main tourist attractions of the surrounding area is made up of villas of Lucca, with their elegant parks and fountains: if you visit them, you will take a step into the past to observe the different Italian artistic styles.
Nearby Villa Venere (about 30-40 km away) there is Pisa, the city of the leaning tower, and Montecatini Terme, the renowned Tuscan spa resort.
For nature and sport lovers (trekking and biking) it is recommend to visit Garfagnana, a historical region in the province of Lucca, between the Apuan Alps and the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines, full of natural landscapes, mountains, trails and ancient villages.
For lovers of traditional Tuscan cookery, you can follow the "Road of Wine and Oil of Lucca, Montecarlo and Versilia", which takes in the small medieval village of Montecarlo, famous for the production of wine and extra-virgin olive oil from Lucca.

Interior Description
The villa spreads over 2 floors and can accommodate up to 12 people for a total of 6 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms (5 complete and 1 service bathroom).
Ground Floor: This floor is composed by an entrance with box room, a dining room with large table, a service bathroom with toilet and washbasin, a large living room with a romantic fireplace, a fully equipped kitchen with barbecue and small fridge, a pantry with washing machine and regular refrigerator and with access to the porch and the garden.
There is also a dependance annexed to the main building with direct access from both inside the villa and the garden, and consists of: a double bedroom and a twin bedroom separated by a bathroom with shower.
First Floor: a small TV room, a living room/study with a lovely fireplace, three twin bedrooms, a double bedroom, four bathrooms with shower (3 en-suite and 1 with tub), an Internet point (Wi-fi available on that room).
Air conditioning and mosquito nets are available in all the bedrooms. There is underfloor central heating. Wi-fi only available on the computer's room.

Our Opinion
Villa Venere 12 is the ideal place for Tuscan landscape lovers (especially the hilly countryside of Lucca, with its sumptuous residences) and sea lovers (as the Versilia coast is only 40 km away).
The interior design is rustic and cozy, characterized by antique furniture and typical country house furnishings. Unfortunately and due to the big walls of the house, the wi-fi network works only well in the internet point room (upper floor).

This property for rent is not a hotel, agritourism, B&B or similar, and therefore by law, extra services similar to those you may find in these types of accommodations, such as a reception, concierge or security, receiving mail, provision of meals and drinks, cleaning and change of linen during your stay, and amenity kits with soaps etc. are strictly prohibited.
