”This is a unique property, being g a historic hotel. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, the lobby very attractive and the bar and restaurant very good. But be prepared for some quirky things. There are no phones in the rooms, nor common amenities like coffee machine, mini fridge or microwaves. The elevator is amazing, the oldest in the eastern U.S. and one of only 2 like it, the other is in Paris. It will only fit about 4 people, 3 if you have luggage, as there has to be an employee...

”I was attracted by the exterior and the location before I ever checked the living accommodations. The exterior was well maintained, the pool would have looked inviting if it hadn't been cold and rainy, I liked the idea of the tables near the pool for pleasant gatherings. The studio was nicely decorated, tasteful and bright. The kitchen area was adequate for a vacation when cooking isn't at the top of the list. ”The Icona is perfectly placed and super convenient. Rooms are roomy and clean with great views food is top notch the staff is the best of the best. The elevator is a little small no issues for us just a note if it matters to someone. Overall a 10 out of 10!!”
