”This property was a unique property in the city of Harrisburg. Once slated for demolition it went up for auction in the past 5 years and was purchased by a couple that completely renovated it. It was tastefully done with very spacious rooms, wonderful sitting areas, coffee/tea stations throughout, and a great breakfast! I would highly recommend staying here! We will be back!”

” The first night the room was too hot because we did not not think about turning the heater off. I found the bed to be uncomfortable and had trouble sleeping. The hospitality was wonderful and breakfast was great. We learned a lot of Civil war history. We were surprised to find that the other couple staying there was from our hometown also.”

”We stayed at the Mooreland Garden Inn on a recent weekend. To say that this place is a gem is an understatement. The hosts, Dawn and Bruce, are amazing, both in their kindness, ability to meet your needs, and generosity. They go above and beyond. The house itself is beautiful and situated in a quiet, walkable area right adjacent to the Dickinson College campus. We walked everywhere since it was so convenient. The room was generous, and we were asked about our comfort and the temperature....

”We had a fabulous stay at the Stuart Manor. Gorgeous property, delicious breakfast and kind hosts. Rooms were spacious and bathrooms modernly updated. Great location not a far drive from what we were in town for, the Apple Festival. Would definitely recommend !”

”Much older home with 2 bathrooms ,one on second floor and one on third floor . There was an awful smell coming from the tub on 3rd, floor. My son being a plumber said it was not vented properly. Bedrooms were all upstairs 2nd and 3rd floor, very comfortable beds and clean, Stairs were narrow and hard to climb for the older ones staying, especially just to go to bathroom. Only 1 parking space for property so any extra vehicles had to park elsewhere away from the house, We had to be dropped off...
