”Lovely country pub and stay nice cooked food and breakfast which is decent size to start your day . Rooms and nice and roomy and comfy got everything you need all clean and tidy . The rooms attached to pub are great if you’re disabled . The staff are lovely a really nice family run place so welcoming in a beautiful little village with gorgeous surroundings peaceful . Loved it will be back again .”

”Basic clean accommodation. Excellent host a genuinely friendly good man, nothing was too much trouble.
Full English breakfast was included and was spot on. Very hard to fault for the price.
Parking is remote from the property and is in a private car park. It looks a bit shady but 2 motor bikes were there overnight without issue.”

Easy to get to from M6- although Sat Nav didn't recognise street name- turn off London Road opposite the Retail Park with B&Q in it- road goes up a hill and you can see an NHS clinic at the top. Hotel and room was clean and quiet. Bed was comfy. Polycotton bedding. There is parking- you have to tell reception your registration number. Car park well lit. ”We recently stayed at this lovely cottage in Carlisle with my two children and had an amazing time. The place was spotless, cosy, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The cottage had a lovely big garden with beautiful views, and there were some great walks nearby which we all enjoyed. The host was welcoming and made sure everything was just right. We would definitely love to return and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!”
