Beautiful Wine Country Escape

A Grand property beckons you into its warm and inviting atmosphere where special attention to detail delights you in every room. The main floor boasts a beautiful large living room complete with a baby grand piano, luxurious leather couch and golden sunlight streaming through the large picture windows. A master suite with a gorgeous bathroom and a double twin room finish out the main floor. Upstairs are 4 bedrooms all uniquely furnished, providing you a quiet sanctuary with beautiful bedding and cozy robes. Dine al fresco outdoors on the large patio or sit around the fire pit sipping delicious Oregon Pinot. The dining area can seat 15 to 20 people so it is a perfect house for a family reunion, wedding party accommodations, rehearsal dinner with a private chef or a wine tour group.. This is a unique property that has been thoughtfully remodeled and provides you with all that you could want for a wine country experience. Just 3 blocks to the quaint downtown Carlton, tasting rooms restaurants and fun shopping await you.

This property is amazing! Great place for a large group of friends and family. Beds were comfortable with top quality bedding. kitchen had all the equipment needed to make meals. Great place for a family gathering!

Stayed at this home with my brother and sister and their families. Plenty of room, and the beds were comfortable. We didn’t spend much time at the home, due to events planned for the wedding we were all attending, but the time we did spend there was quite enjoyable!

Wonderful Stay

The house is as wonderful as it looks. My friends and I spent a long weekend exploring Carlton and wine country, and this is the perfect place to stay. The house is so comfortable, most items that you need are readily available, and there is so much space to spread out or gather together without feeling on top of each other.

Exceptional! Our stay at the Alexander house was beyond perfect. The house was complete with all amenities. The decor kept you wandering from room to room in awe of the collections and how it all flowed so well together. So much room to spread out providing perfect gathering spaces. The beds were very comfortable with lovely linens. The kitchen had everything we needed. Every bathroom was fully stocked with necessities. Joka and Keefe could not have been better hosts. Their communication and attentiveness was over the top .

Wine Excursion

The location of this property was superb in that it was so close of a walking distance to the wineries and surprisingly wonderful restaurants. The property manager went to every level to ensure our comfort and satisfaction. It exceeded our expectations and made our trip a blast. If I am in Carlton or the Williamette Valley this will be our home

Fun place to stay.

Great location for wine tasting. Fun house to stay, with all the art and collections. Spacious rooms and gathering areas. Only has 2 full bathrooms and 2 quarter bathrooms ie.1 with a shower and a sink and the other with a toilet and a sink. We made it work with 4 couples. Yes, we would stay there again.

Delightful Oregon Escape

We had a wonderful time staying in this well-appointed, eclectically decorated historic home. The bedrooms were all so cozy and comfortable, and the living spaces large enough for our group, yet soft and intimate. Our hostess was welcoming, kind and an excellent communicator. Amazing Long Weekend w/ Friends

Our stay was exceptional. Not only is the house beautiful with tons of space for our group of 10+, a full kitchen, so many spots for us to gather, but Joka really went above and beyond to make sure I felt celebrated for my birthday. Her and her son were very easy to get in contact with to help with check-in and provide recommendations within the area. Thank you so much for an unforgettable trip!

Great Wine Country Girls Get-away

This property was perfect for my daughter’s 21st birthday girls weekend. The property owner was fun and attentive. The house is unique and amazing. We loved the comfortable outdoor space and indoor living space. Great for our group of ten. A special place to stay and the town of Carlton was a wonderful surprise.

Wonderful experience!

If you have the chance to stay at this property, take it! Joka was the sweetest person to work with and even added special touches to the house for our stay that were so thoughtful. The house was perfect for our family gathering with plenty of space and a great location. I cannot say enough good things about the house itself or Joka and Alexander. The communication with them was fantastic! It was truly a wonderful trip!

Heart Warming Home

I stayed in the Alexander House with 8 of my friends/family to celebrate my upcoming marriage. We fell in love with the home the moment we walked through the door. The listing can’t even capture all the character, warmth, and beauty this property offers. So much space, lots of areas to gather and socialize with a large group, and amazing outdoor area with plenty of seating. We couldn’t have enjoyed our stay more!

Overall it was a delightful experience in this very special house. We were treated like royalty with flowers and wine and fabulous snacks. The beds were comfortable. The oven needs heating attention. The decor simply over the top!!! A must stay!

A retreat to remember!

We loved the place, our rooms and the beautiful decorations throughout. Some liked to just relax in the house, others went for walks, some other of us went wine tasting---and tasted the wine the manager thoughtfully left for us! We walked to dinner and other meals. In all we had time to catch up with one another and enjoy being where we were with each other. Terrific time!

Absolutely exceptional stay! This VRBO exceeded all expectations. The home itself was spotless, beautifully maintained, and incredibly comfortable—everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. It easily accommodated all 10 of us with plenty of space to spread out, relax, and enjoy each other’s company without ever feeling crowded.The location could not have been better. Nestled in a quiet and charming neighborhood, it offered both peace and privacy, while still being just minutes from some of the best vineyards and tasting rooms in the area.One of the standout features was the host’s responsiveness and genuine hospitality. From the moment we booked until the day we left, communication was timely, clear, and helpful. The host truly goes above and beyond to accommodate requests, making sure every detail is just right and that guests feel completely at home.If you're looking for a convenient, spacious, and beautifully located spot for a wine country escape, this is it. Perfect house for our Girls Getaway

The house was perfect for our stay in the Wilamette Valley. Walking distance to many restaurants, shops and tasting rooms, the location in Carlton cannot be beat! It is also very drivable to several Wilamette Valley wineries! Perfectly equipped. Well stocked kitchen. Beautiful Flowers and welcome gift was appreciated. The check-in process was very easy. Joka was always available in case we needed anything! When we come back, we'd love to stay again.
