Although it is now under new management, it's clear that the lovely, friendly, warm welcoming atmosphere is something the staff are keen to retain. ”Really nice big room and above a lovely local pub. No noise issues at at all and we stayed on a friday and Saturday. The breakfast was very good and a large portion. And staff where very nice. ”

”The manager was helpful as the roller blind did not work properly and the retaining cable(s) had to be cut for the blind to drop and cut out the daylight. The evening meal was excellent.”

We had a beautiful view of the lake from our lodge and although we didn't take part it looked like there was lots of activities going on (this didn't disturb us) Our lodge was bigger than expected and clean Lots of cutlery and plates to use and a filter coffee machine which was a lovely touch. The property is easy to get to and a good base for exploring the area. ”
