”We had a really lovely stay at the Cart Lodge in early October. The hosts kindly left us some local bread, eggs, jam and biscuits which was a lovely welcome. Everything was very clean and well looked after. The beds very comfortable and the bathroom was lovely and warm. Firewood had been provided, however we didn't need to use it. TV had lots of options. It would be nice to have an earlier check in time than 4pm, but everything with the property and hosts was fantastic. ”

”This was a fabulous place to celebrate my 70th holiday with children and grandchildren, aged between 18 months and 12 years. The house was spacious and really comfortable and well-equipped. It was great to have two canoes (and life-jackets) with easy access to the river, and wonderful views from the decked area. We had glorious weather and superb day-trips on the nearby ferry over to Glendurgan Gardens etc. Really hoping to come again one day.”

”The location is great but a few details need attention. there was no hot water until we eventually found the on switch for the immersion heater. The WiFi details given in the email were completely wrong and the double bed duvet barely reached the edge of the mattress. We realised today taking the linen off that the duvet cover was too small for the duvet. Not ideal in November.”

”The property is very homely and the best of locations. However the property needs a good clean both inside and out. The carpet in the dining room is dreadful, covered in nasty stains. The stair carpet is dirty too. Despite this we enjoyed our stay very much.”

”Liebevoll eingerichtetes und küchentechnisch perfekt ausgestattes viktorianisches Cottage oberhalb der Hafenpromenade mit leichten Gebrauchsspuren.Einer der besten Plätze um in Porthleven um in der Nachmittags-/Abendsonne auf der Terrasse zu sitzen und das Treiben im kleinen Hafen zu genießen. Direkt unterhalb kann man auch bei Flut im kaum von Schiffen genutzten Hafenbecken schwimmen.In Porthleven selbst gibt es 3 Pubs, mehrere Restaurants und Takeaways sowie einen gut sortierten kleinen...
