”The property and adjacent garden area were ideal for a weekend stay for a get together we my old school friends and their families. The property was well stocked with all the items you could need for a stay there e.g. pots, pans, crockery, glassware and cutlery and having a dishwasher was a bonus. The beds were not luxurious (a basic folding metal frame), however, despite this they were surprisingly comfortable and I slept really well there. ”

”Perfect cottage for our family of 6. Great location with variety of dining and shopping options, perfect amount of space for the family to spread out or all be in one room together. Beautiful garden. The parking is tight for large vehicles but we made it work. The cottage is cute with historic charm and some low ceilings, but we’re all over 6’ tall found the charm worth ducking our heads for. Highly recommend the Dolphin House!”

”Lovely little cottage, perfect for a short stay (wish we had longer!) local to Oxford, Cotswolds & as a stopover from north to south as just off M40/A34. Managed Ok even in hot weather as a fan provided & bathroom was fab. Would have been nice to be able to open up the rear door for patio breakfast rather than walk around the side but not there long enough to be an issue. Opposite the church so had a musical alarm call from the bells on a Sunday norning which was novel & as expected for village...

”Great property to stay at, and wonderful area to explore the Costwolds and beyond. The suite was well equipped with most needed items. There were quite a few flying ants but the owners had tried to put ant traps out to remedy the problem.”

Kitchen very well stocked with crockery, glasses etc.Disable shower room perfect for my elderly parents, but small steps to kitchen made it difficult to access kitchen and back garden. gravel carpark and back garden made it difficult for wheelchair.”

”this is the most perfect cottage to explore the cotswolds, everything is within easy drive and it’s pretty central, the cottage is excellent, and the hosts are amazing -the communication was faultless. When we go back to the cotswolds we will try and rebook this place. the added benefit is there is a pub 100yds away which does excellent seafood”
