”Hosts were outstanding on check in. I arrived later in evening around 7:30 pm and they were friendly and receptive and recommended dining options. Even walked me down to the cabin to show the way in the dark. Room was immaculate and beautifully done and very comfortable. Would stay here anytime when within the area. Good location and convenient to attractions, dining, and all basic staples.”

”The room was clean and comfortable, but WiFi didn't work at all. The indoor mineral pool was deep and hot, but instead of preferred sulfur smell, it had a very strong chlorine one. ”

”Clean room, no elevator to top floor. The room was smaller than most with just enough room to get around the bed fairly well. We would not choose it again just based on the size of the room.”

”One of the best hot springs resorts we'd ever stayed at! We really enjoyed the privacy of the thermal hot tub on our balcony. It was clean and very comfortable!”

”Room was great. Facility is expansive. A bit of gouging on the parking fee and resort fee that was not told about until we were leaving. ”

”The property was nice itself but the staff was not so great. They didn’t greet us and it was just awkward; no eye contact. On our last day, house keeping didn’t even knock and tried to open our door at 8:30a. ”

”We stayed here as a in-between spot on our vacation to and from our home. It's the best hotel I've stayed in a while. The value matched. You get a great breakfast, it's clean, there's a pool, rooms are large! For a family of five we always struggle with hotels having only two beds or a 4 person limit and this room offered two queens, and a pull out bed! 10/10 will stay here again. ”

”The Lightwell is a wonderful little hotel in a great location. Easy walk to all of downtown Hood River. Everything was clean, well taken care of with friendly staff. Rooms are small with no onsite parking, however parking was close.”

”Everything was good other than we never got new towels. And when i asked for new towels they didn't even wrap around my thigh so drying off after the hot tub or showering was a bit awkward. ”

”I had a great two night stay here. It was so great to have something different - this felt very homey. Bed and pillows were excellent! It was a tad too hot the first evening as I assume the AC was not turned on during the day of arrival. It did cool down for the rest of the stay. It was quiet place, great location and the lady at the reception was lovely! I should have stayed longer!”
