Misia offers a great a base to explore nearby medieval hill top town Orvieto, the strange muddy city of Bagnoregio and lake Bolsena. Bolsena has some awful restaurants and tourist traps so it is highly advised that one consults Misia proprietor Giorgio or his sister for specifics regarding where to go. ”One-night visit in Orvieto. This was a perfect hotel for that, traveling with 2 children. The hotel is very centrally situated, room had AC, service was superb, and they could provide a parking place in central Orvieto. Finding the hotel with car is an adventure in itself.... Orvieto is a great place to visit for one or two days. Really interesting, long history.”

”Beds were comfortable. The family stayed in the roomy Bastioni apartment. Breakfast was very good and the staff were patient when we arrived just before serving was supposed to end. The hotel - an old castle —and pool area were lovely. Very friendly staff. ”
