”The owner was lovely and very friendly. The hotel was right up my alley, I love anything to do with history. Very clean and well maintained for such an older building. The view of the river is amazing. I didn’t see much of the town, had a long drive and left early the next morning.”

”Mattresses are in bad shape, so worn you roll to the middle. Never saw a staff member at The Lodge other than check in at main hotel whom was very pleasant and accommodating. Place just looks tired inside but was very quiet in The Lodge which I appreciate for a hotel. ”

”Dirty”

”Check-in was quick and easy, but unfortunately we found roaches crawling on the table in our first room. We informed the front desk, and the employee handled it professionally by checking the room and quickly moving us to another one. The second room was cleaner and we did not see any bugs, although there were still some maintenance issues like stained sheets and damage to the walls. Overall, the staff was helpful, but the hotel definitely needs better upkeep and pest control.”

”The chairs in the dining area looked worn and ragged. A new pot of coffee took 30 minutes to get refilled. Most of the staff were very nice. We felt everything was clean. The pool room was hot, and the water was cold, not heated. There wasn’t any body wash, only small bars. The room was nice. I guess I expected a bit more from Comfort Inn. I’m not sure I’d stay at that hotel again. Maybe?”

”Everything there at this hotel was great! And I enjoyed my stay. I will be staying there when I come to Lawerenceburg to visit.”

”Everything was a mess dirt everywhere no trash can towels were dirty. Bathtub dirty window shaded destroyed stains on walls chairs. Air conditioner in pieces. And the best part roaches and left with bed bug bites”

”The A/C did not work, maintenance had to be called. There was no mini fridge or microwave as advertised and no continental breakfast. Very dirty looking, old and outdated. The entire place smelled like pot. Never again.”

”The room smelt like incense were burned 24/7. Every towel I received had nasty stains on them. The bathroom shower was dirty, with hairs that did not belong to me. 3 of the 4 pillow cases were stained or dirty as well as the top blanket. The floor definitely had not been mopped or swept. When the cleaning person came, the took the trash and replaced the towels with more dirty/stained towels. Lastly, there was blood splatter in the ceiling in the restroom.”
