Talo puutarhalla kivitalossa

Maaseudulla ja panoraamisessa mäkisessä paikassa Umbrian ja Toscanan välisellä rajalla. Äskettäin rakennettu huoneisto on sisustettu hienosti maalaismaiseen tyyliin, varustetuilla huonekaluilla ja varustettuna kaikilla mukavuuksilla (WIFI, satelliitti-TV, TV kaikissa huoneissa, pesukone, keittiö 5-polttimella, astianpesukone, sähköuuni, uuni) mikroaaltouuni, silitysrauta ja pöytä, hiustenkuivaaja, iso jääkaappi, pakastin). Koostuu kahdesta makuuhuoneesta, toisessa parivuode ja oma kylpyhuone, toisessa kerrossänky. Iso olohuone-keittiö, takalla. Yhteinen uima-allas avoinna kesäkuun alusta syyskuun puoliväliin. Ihanteellinen rentouttavalle ja uudistavalle lomalle ehdotuksellisessa luonnonympäristössä, lähellä kahta lukuisista taidepaikoista (Perugia, Siena, Orvieto, Cortona, Pienza, Montepulciano, Città della Pieve, Arezzo, Assisi) Chiusi, Gubbio) ja kylpylät (Chianciano Terme, Montepulciano Terme, San Casciano dei Bagni, Rapolano Terme, Bagni San Filippo).

Kleines liebevoll eingerichtetes Appartement; toller Blick von Terrasse auf See, Landschaft, Berge und Sonnenuntergang; großer Pool mit eigenen Liegen und Sonnenschirm; ruhiges Haus trotz mehrerer Parteien; Lage mitten auf dem Land daher Zugang über typische Feldwege; Mückenschutz ist unbedingt zu empfehlen; Luigi ist toller warmherziger Gastgeber, herzlich, dezent, pro-aktiv in Informationen, schnell beim Antworten und jederzeit hilfsbereit. Très belle piscine qui est appréciée au retour des balades. Belle terrasse avec vue panoramique sur la campagne et couchers de soleil.La 2eme chambre avec les lits superposés est très petite et convient pour des enfants.En revanche les moustiques et les mouches sont envahissants.Luigi est très réactif et nous a donné tous les détails pour arriver sans problème au portail.

Stunning location

My family and I had a great stay here. Absolutely stunning views from the outside seating area and kids loved the pool. Luigi very helpful, easy to contact and showed us the way to the house on arrival which was much appreciated. It was very hot whilst we were there but once we got the airflow going through the house and the fans on we got used to it. There is lots to do in the area -biking and swimming and easy drives to lots of scenic Hill towns.

Diese Wohnung mit dem bezaubernden Ambiente ist ein Traum. Der kleine Garten und die liebevolle und geschmackvolle Einrichtung. Der Vermieter Gino, ist ein sehr emphatischer, zuvorkommender Gastgeber. Er ist immer um das Wohl seiner Gäste bemüht, kümmert sich und versorgte uns mit wertvollen Informationen. Es ist eine Seltenheit so einen tollen Gastgeber zu haben. Die Sonnenuntergänge und auch der wunderschöne Pool werden unvergessen sein. Castiglione del Lago hat ein sehr schönes und verträumtes Gässchen auf der Burg, mit vielen kleinen Geschäften und Lokalen. Dieser Urlaub wird immer in unserer Erinnerung bleiben.

La casa è curatissima in ogni dettaglio e ha un patio con una vista sulle colline fantastica, con tramonti indimenticabili. La piscina è altrettanto meravigliosa e tranquilla. Fantastic house in a fantastic location owned by a fantastic host! Will definitely go back!

Vrbo makes the rental process super easy. Luigi provided excellent communication and care. He met us in Gioiella, a small town near the house, to take us the rest of the way so we would not get lost, and had even offered to pick up our friends at the Castiglione del Lagos train station. Do be aware that the second bedroom is very small with a set of bunk beds, of which the top is not suitable for an adult. There is a full out sofa as well with a full sized bed. The two bathrooms were wonderful and more than adequate. There is a washer, but no dryer (which is not uncommon - line drying clothes is still very much practiced in Tuscany, so give your self ample time for things to air dry. The house was well stocked with everything you need to make meals there. Grocery stores are near by in Gioiella or Castiglione del Lagos. Simply beautiful location. The views were breathtaking. A fantastic experience. We will definitely return.

Absolutely Beautiful!!!

The location of this house is absolutely perfect in every way. The view was stunning with miles of countryside and rolling hills. The house was perfect for me and my mother and father to stay together with enough room and privacy for all. Gino, our host, was the sweetest man. I loved receiving messages from him each morning with information about the day and places to visit. He was very accommodating and easy to communicate with. He has another home down south near Pompeii and I would like to visit there next time I travel back to Italy. Everything was perfect and I am so grateful to him for providing such a wonderful experience for me and my family! Grazie mille!!!

Wonder full stay in beautiful Umbria

We found our vacation home in a very good condition. Very friendly and help full host Gino was awaiting us. We had everything we needed in a very quiet surrounding. Bed was very comfortable! Kitchen and bathroom was very well equipped. We very much recommend this accommodation!

Simply wonderful!

Gino is a wonderful, very nice and above all attentive host. We were already in contact before the start of the holiday and the keys were therefore handed over without any complications. Arrived at the holiday home we were first impressed by the magnificent view, the fantastic pool - which we were allowed to use almost the whole time for ourselves - as well as the absolutely wonderful holiday accommodation. The domicile is absolutely just as pretty and lovingly furnished as on the pictures shown. Gino had very helpful tips for excursions from the beginning and was always available for us. The time in Castiglione del Lago was terrific and we were very that we have to leave after seven days. We can only thank Gino for the incredible time in Bella Italia as well as the great stay in this beautiful property. So: Thank you Gino!

It was the most amazing experience to rent this place from the first communication weeks before our arrival to our departure. The place is stunning and so peaceful. The pool is perfect and in general the surroundings are fantastic, We stayed a family of four and had the best time. Would love to come back.

Magnifique semaine de vacances ! Gino est très attentionné : il s'assurait régulièrement que tout allait bien et nous a fourni pleins de conseils (visites, vins...). Merci Gino! La location est parfaite, très bien équipée, aussi jolie que sur les photos. Et la vue depuis le jardin ou la piscine est incroyable. On y reviendra avec plaisir !

Wonderful week in Castiglione del Lago

On short notice, our plans to stay in Rome did not go through and we found this lovely place in the Umbria countryside. We met Gino in the little town of Gioialla and we followed him to the property. He helped us get settled, answered as best he could in broken English, all of our questions. and made sure we had his number in case we needed anything. There are four, possibly five apartments in this farmhouse complex. Most of the neighbors in the building are local Italians who come for the weekends in the summer to swim in the beautiful pool. Everyone was very friendly, but conversing was difficult as no one spoke English and we did not speak Italian. The nearby town of Castiglione de Lago was the real draw. The lake is beautiful, the setting is quiet, and there are boat rides and other touristy things to do. We also made day trips to Orvieto, Spoleto, Cortona, and Multepulciano. All in all, a very lovely experience. A couple of things to note: 1) you really have to have a car to get around because you are definitely out in the countryside; 2) Bring bug spray because you are definitely out in the countryside. One other important thing to note...the website listed Donatella as the owner and host. However, our communication was always with someone other than Donatella and I'm not sure Donatella is actually a person. No matter. It's a lovely place with two bedrooms, two baths, and a serviceable kitchen.

Idealer Ort zum Ausspannen

Der Aufenthalt begann mit einem sehr herzlichen und persönlichen Empfang. Donatella und Gino standen auch während des gesamten Aufenthalts für Fragen per WhatsApp zur Verfügung. Das 6 Parteienhaus ist in mitten von Feldern außerhalb eines kleineren Dorfs in der Nähe eines Bauernhofs gelegen. Es gibt gute Versorgungsmöglichkeiten in der nächsten Stadt (Castiglione del Lago), und es ist ein sehr guter Ausgangspunkt für viele schöne umbrische und toskanische Ziele. Die Wohnung ist liebevoll und sehr detailreich in einer italienisch/französische Mischung eingerichtet. Die technische Ausstattung ist sehr gut: Waschmaschine, großer Kühlschrank und großer Gasherd sowie vielfältige Kochutensilien, um nur das Wichtigste zu nennen. Es verfügt über einen schön angelegten kleinen Garten mit Gartenkräutern, in dem schon einmal ein Hase beim Frühstück vorbeischaut. Für uns das Highlight: der wundervolle, weite (Süd-)Westblick über die umbrisch/toskanische Landschaft von der überdachten, voll möblierten Gartenterasse. Wir haben unseren 10-tägigen Aufenthalt zu zweit dort sehr genossen. Auf jeden Fall sehr zu empfehlen.

Heaven on earth

Our 4 night stay here was the highlight of our 2 week trip in Italy. This place is a Jewel (located just outside of Gioiella). I cannot imagine a more beautiful site from which to sit in the evening and look out over the wheat fields waving in the breeze watching the sunset. Our host was amazing. Very gracious and responsive. The apartment (part of a larger house, but with its own entrances and feels very private) was very comfortable. It has a washer, full kitchen, refrigerator, two bedrooms and two full baths and a living area. But the star for us was the outdoor covered patio complete with couches and table situated by a beautiful flower garden. We sat out there every evening well past sunset. We were there in June and there was a nice breeze every afternoon and evening. There also was a pool, which we could have used, but didn't because we were also very active visiting the nearby Tuscan and Umbrian towns, such as Montepulciano, Pienze, Castiglione del Lago (on Lake Trasimeno) and even further afield (but still only just over an hour away) Assisi, etc. We loved this location and would definitely come back here if we have the good fortune of another Italian vacation.

A little piece of heaven

This is a quirky little apartment in the most beautiful situation. The pool is great. Castiglione del Lago is a lovely town to visit as is Montepulciano. Our only problem was with mosquitoes and midges. If you want peace and quiet this is the place for you.

Das Appartement liegt etwas abseits der Straße auf einer Anhöhe mit einem fantastischen Weitblick. Einrichtung und Ausstattung lassen keine Wünsche offen. Die Räume sind mit sehr viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet und bis hin zu Geschirrspüler und Waschmaschine ist wirklich alles vorhanden. Der nächste kleine Supermarkt ist mit dem Auto in 5 min erreichbar. Nach Castiglione fährt man ca. 20 min, hier gibt es dann die großen Supermärkte, Geschäfte und viele sehr gute Restaurants. Donatella und Gino haben uns sehr herzlich empfangen und uns auch noch viele Tips für Besichtigungen und Ausflüge mitgegeben. Wir haben uns rundherum wohlgefühlt und können eine 100%ige Empfehlung aussprechen. An dieser Stelle nochmal ein herzliches Dankeschön an Donatella und Gino. Grazie mille.

Beautiful House, Amazing View and Wonderful Host

We had a fantastic holiday in Italy staying at the house. Location is excellent. When not relaxing by the pool with the wonderful view we spent time visiting local towns, horse riding, taking the ferry to one of the islands on the nearby lake and paddle boarding. We found so much to do in the local area we decided to not visit Florence or Siena however both cities are within easy driving distance. Thank you to Donatella and Anna for making us so welcome. Highly recommended.

Not for 4 people

The room may be suited for a couple with two young children, but not for 4 adults. A small room with bunk bed is not a sleeping room for adults. The alternativ to use the couch in the kitchen/living room is no alternative too.

Amazingly beautiful

The most amazing view from this house. It was everything we hoped it would be. The owners were so kind and helpful! We loved all of the little touches that made it feel like home. The flowers around the house were beautiful.

Splendido panormama

Abbiamo passato una ottima settimana di vacanza. La casa é accogliente e bien equipaggiata e la vista sulla valle e sul lago trasimeno é splendida. La casa é relativamente isolata e non ci sono rumori se non quelli de la natura Quando abbiamo soggiornato faceva molto caldo e fortunatamente c'era la piscina per rinfrescarsi. La sola osservazione che si puo' fare rigurda la strada d'accesso che é un po' complicata da percorrere.

Better than we ever expected!

Castiglione de Lago was the highlight of our two week stay in Italy. We cannot say enough great things about Donatella and the property. The property is better than listed on VRBO. The kitchen is fully equipped for staying in to cook or a short drive to area cites for restaurants. The southern exposure of the patio was great for watching sunsets and pool was a great way to cool off in the afternoon. Gioielle is a cute small town that served as a great base to explore the Umbria/Tuscany regions. Thank you Donatella for providing the highlight of our vacation to Italy. We truly hope to return some day!
