”Didnt have my booking on the system, appeared to give me the reserve room that they use for last case scenarios. The stairwell ran diagonally above the bed so every time someone walked up the stairs it boomed through just above your head. Hidden charges for using the gym. Main reception in a different building. Free parking was the only decent part. ”

”Second visit here recently and noticed no difference in level of care and attention. The hosts are simply amazing. Would absolutely recommend to anyone looking for accommodation in or around Sanquhar. Food is amazing too. It would 100% be my go to if I ever needed to be back in the area. Gardens and river view are great for a post breakfast walk. ”

”This is a fantastic property. Very spacious, clean and comfortable. Although close to the main road (and easy access to local amenities, walks and beautiful beaches), it is quiet and peaceful. The kitchen is very well stocked and we enjoyed having the pool/ping pong table in the lounge. Would love to return for another stay.”

”Cottage was clean cosy and comfortable. It is about 15 mins drive to castle douglas. Owners live next door so easy to contact with minor issues. We were familiar with local area as visited frequently before.”
