”Lovely hotel and staff, pool very nice. Room disappointing. Building works going on throughout the hotel which wasn’t made clear at booking. We were in a ‘family room’ which was essentially a meeting room converted on the ground floor. The only radiator in such a large room was around half a meter from my head when in bed, the chosen location very uncomfortable and I therefore did not sleep well at all. Shower tray flooded easily which was annoying. Ok but the experience was certainly...

”We were very pleased with our stay. There is a lot of renovation work going on but the hotel is still functioning well. Maybe a couple of the staff on reception could be better trained on check in and check out etticet. Overall good stay”

”Brilliant uppergrade to an apartment. Very attentive, courteous and friendly staff. Nothing was too much trouble, even when the whole village suffered a blackout due to an electrical fault. The weather was even gracious to us, and views were spectacular ”

”Thoroughly enjoyed our weekend stay. All staff were extremely accommodating. Breakfast was lovely, quality ingredients and plenty of choice. We particularly enjoyed the touch of the espresso machine and cake stand during our stay. ”

Was a touch chilly in our room but nothing too troublesome, it was a very cold day. Breakfast was great, lots of veggie and vegan options. Well done. ”
