”Stayed in a single budget room which was clean and comfortable. The staff and owner make you feel very welcome. Good breakfast and well stocked bar - nice pint of Guiness. No complaints and great value. Pay and display car park a stones throw at £3 for 24 hours. No food in the evenings but would recommend the Dolphin chippy down the hill. Made a pleasant change from the corporate hotel chains.”

”Welcoming staff. Clean room with 2 chairs, which we used to sit by the window to admire the view of the water. It’s amazing how many hotels only provide one chair in double rooms. Good evening meal and breakfast. Nice lounge, on our floor, which we used to sit and read on a rainy afternoon. We would book again if coming to the area.
