”Quinta de Recião has numerous properties. This review is for the one-bedroom cottage (Casa do Moinho - the Mill House) The Mill House is a beautiful property, hosted by beautiful people. The main room has kitchen, table, lounge, small TV and a fire. The separate bedroom has two single beds with an adjoining bathroom. The cottage sits right on the edge of the Rio Varosa (Varosa River) and the sound of running water is peaceful and calming. There is the option to have a home cooked meal...

”We arrived late at night due to flight delays which made for an interesting journey as this is rural - BUT the directions are excellent from the property link on VRBO. Even solid you can arrive in the day it would likely be better. Only when we awoke could we appreciate how wonderful the cottage and gardens are. The views are absolutely beautiful. To float about in the pool while listening to the birds and looking down the river will certainly fasttrack relaxation. A couple of minutes walk...

”This is a super house to stay in, 10 minutes walk to a great beach with a bar and at the weekends kayaks and paddle boards to hire. There is also plenty of shade.The house itself is well equipped and comfortable.Miguel is a perfect host and is very speedy in his communication.It is by itself and very quiet. Our adult family had a great time staying here.”
