”Very clean and new hotel building. Rooms are tight but clean and have fridge and microwave oven. Since located in downtown Oakland it can get quite busy in surroundings, though 11th street is somewhat calm area. My room windows were on the street side and it was pretty noisy during nights. If you wear ear plugs it is no big deal. I stayed 10 nights and my room wasn't cleaned for once. Breakfast is okay. Nothing fancy but you get what you need to start your day. I probably wouldn't stay here...

”Very clean accommodation. I felt safe. Hotel management makes safety a priority. Although this is a boutique hotel without a lobby with coffee or drinks, there is a 7-Eleven a couple doors down and plenty of coffee shops and eateries about a 10 minute walk up the street on Piedmont Avenue. Only thing that was a little concerning was that the windows are single paned and sound carried very easily into my street facing room. ”Bathroom was moldy and shower and tub were filthy with black scum in crevices. Hair on the floor indicated that it wasn’t swept after the last guest. Otherwise it was basic and gave what I needed which was a cheap roof, bed, shower. The front office person was accommodating.”
