Located directly on the Gulf within a true nature preserve, the property is framed by swaying palms, warm Gulf breezes, and tranquil coastal scenery—an ideal setting to relax, reconnect, and unwind.

Whether you’re planning a romantic getaway or a fun coastal vacation, Island Place provides an exceptional blend of comfort, charm, and location. The complex is thoughtfully designed to reflect the historic character of Cedar Key while offering modern conveniences. Guests are perfectly situated next to the city marina and just steps from local restaurants, shops, art galleries, and the grocery store—no car required.

Additional Information:
• Grills are park-style and located at the end of the complex. Please bring your own utensils, charcoal, grill brush, and lighter fluid.
• No boat parking is available onsite. Public boat parking is located one block east or two blocks north, behind the museum.

Staycation

We only live a couple of hours away and wanted somewhere new to try that wasn’t too far from home. Cedar Key was lovely and relaxing. The condo was extremely clean and comfortable and had everything we needed for the weekend, just as advertised. The view of the water is beautiful and the location to shops, restaurants and bars was perfect. We had a great time!

Cute place

Cute little place and updated decor and the pictures show. A couple little things that need to be stated/said, the walls are very thin and you can hear everything from the doors closing around you to the snoring of your neighbors. The curtains are very cute but let all the light in, maybe a dark curtain behind to help with the light and sound outside the bedroom. The shower floor is uneven and squeaks when you step in it and the shower head points out so you have to be very careful about the water going out of the shower. When showering the water will go from scalding hot to freezing cold for no reason so I can catch you off guard. With those things said we enjoyed our time, always love coming to the key and will be returning.

Nice place for two people.

This was nice get-away weekend for my wife and I. The Condo was well furnished with everything we needed. It was a great location near the Seafood Festival and local restaurants. The property was just as it was described in the advertisement. We would stay there again.

Nice clean property

The unit had just been cleaned when we arrived at 3PM. The floors were still a little wet. No big deal, good to see that was cleaned prior to our arrival. Had a small glitch with the A/C system and a little confusion over the thermostat, but figured that out and everything was fine. The only issues with the unit were: 1. The WiFi was pretty bad. Had to use cell phone data and hot spot to effectively stream or play online games. 2. The unit is raised and as a result if you walk heel to toe is sounds like your are a stomping herd of buffalo. Both in our unit and could also hear the next door units as well. Not so much the upstairs unit. * Being very picky here, but providing feedback. 3. The light switches are not intuative to where you might expect the lights to turn on. 4. Asking a client to wash towels at end of stay is OK, but wash and replace all dishes is bit over the top. Had to hand wash and dry everything used for breakfast rather than put in dishwasher and start. 5. No control by owner, but the bridge next to the unit is under construction and there was a fair amount of noise. 6. The sliding glass door need adjustment or lubrication, very difficult to open and close. And I am 6'5" and 290 pounds! Overall a very good unit and would recommend to others.
