”It’s nothing personal, the staff was nice. Our nine-year-old child clogged the toilet, so, it wasn’t anything crazy, I went to ask for a plunger, and they could not find one. The only option was to move us to another room, which I did not want to do. I actually got in my car and drove to Cub Foods and bought a plunger, which I left with the hotel. They refunded me for the plunger the next morning, which I appreciated. My biggest complaint, the carpet in our hotel room was literally sticky....

”The breakfast was delicious—much better than expected. The hotel had bikes that we were allowed to use for free. There were some awesome bike trails nearby and we enjoyed exploring them. The light rail was inexpensive and very convenient, although it seems as though it will be replaced with buses for the month of July to allow maintenance of the tracks. There was no restaurant in the hotel but there were some tempting restaurants within walking distance.”

”I usually stay at high end boutique hotels, so I ended up here only because I needed a place for an unexpected layover. The amenities at those types of hotels are obviously on a different level, but I’ve honestly never stayed somewhere this nice at this price point. What really set this place apart was the service. Maya at the front desk and the gentleman at the door were exceptional. They treated me like a friend, gave me great recommendations for restaurants and places to go during my delay,...

”We stay at The Royal Sonesta every time we are visiting downtown Minneapolis. Beautiful hotel with parking availability, good food and drinks at the hotel, and everything within a short walking distance to Target Field, US Bank Stadium, and the countless bars and restaurants makes this our go to”

”Everything was great. The Front Desk Agent, Sinead, was incredibly helpful. Our room had some AC issues and they immediately sent someone to help. When they weren't able to immediately fix the issue, we were able to get another room. I would come back, for sure.”

”Our AirPods were stolen out of our suitcase while in the hotel room. The room had what appeared to be water damage and patches work on the walls. We moved rooms due to a large red stain (likely wine) in the first room and the second room we moved to also had the same appearance of water damage and drywall patching in the room”

”We travel a lot for youth sports and this hotel was amazing. They were wonderful to the athletes and had patience and understanding. The room was lovely too”
