”Great location, beautifully decorated room and good quality bedding, towels, toiletries etc. However .. our room (9) was TINY .. the gap on one side of the bed was approx 8 inches between the bed and the wall so very difficult to navigate safely particularly at night without stubbing your toe on the one side or bumping into to door handle on the other. ”The hotel is situated in beautiful surroundings and we were lucky to be given a stone cottage apartment with outside decking overlooking the pond and grounds. Beautiful! The staff were all very pleasant but overstretched and and quite stressed at times. Breakfast was good but didn't run smoothly. The restaurant food and service was very good.The pool and spa were really lovely and the gym looked amazing. Don't rely on trying to get a taxi anywhere. Our main reason for staying here was to visit...
