Majatalot – Central Vermont

”The room was awesome. Very roomy, clean and stayed cool during the day and warm at night. We loved the property. It felt very homey. The staff was helpful and they had coffee every morning ready for us. This hotel was not in the downtown area of Woodstock and that was why we picked it. We wanted to be outside the traffic and activity. I would stay here again!”

”This place probably has the worst quality/price rating ever. Rooms are small, worn out and dirty. Bed was very worn out with a very poor mattress. Only entertainment in the room was the Holy Bible that was left laying on the table. There were even no glasses on the room (are we supposed to drink straight from the tap?). When we arrived to the place, we were directed to a room that was not cleaned. When going back to the reception, they appologized and gave us another room. When we asked for...

”It was certainly a remote property and if you want to get away from it all then this is the place!”

”Staying there was like traveling on time and we were avle to learn about the history of the original house and famous bridge in front. The room was extremely clean, comfortable and cozy. The staff very responsive and kind. Breakfast served was delicious and fresh.”

”Such a nice and kind family of owners. Breakfast was delicious, as well as dinner the previous night in their restaurant. It’s a very rustic Inn, full of history and charm. We would love to return in the near future.”

”Beware that check in is at 3 pm and the office closes at 5pm during some times of the year. The room was nice, quaint but on the 4th floor and we were unaware of a flight of stairs we needed to go up. The TV wouldn't turn on so we spent a bit working on that. Breakfast was a delight and the service was excellent.”

”I recommend for couples needing romantic atmosphere and relaxing in front the beautiful fireplace and really the dinner at the reluctant restaurant is very romantic dinner 👍”
