”Man skal først gøre sig en ting helt klart ved dette hotel: Det ligger FOR ENDEN af en vej, der fører op i den sydlige del af alperne. Så man skal køre ned af bjerget i ca. 20-30 minutter for at komme til første by med indkøbsmuligheder, ligesom der omkring hotellet er to restauranter og meget lidt internet. Men hvis man kan lide denne isolation i fantastisk natur, så er det perfekt. Omkring hotellet er der masser af forskellige vandreruter. Hotellet ligger lige på kanten af en meget stor...

”The Residence is in a restricted traffic area, so you can't directly drive to it without a permit. Our navigation system was not able to find the address and we had to enter a different one nearby and then walk to the residence (about 500m). The rooms are very nice Italian style and the staff is very friendly, including the restaurant. The food and service in the restaurant was great.”

I'd like to remind that Valnontey is most easily accessed by own/hired car, not having that I was much helped by the locals and hotel owner in getting to and from Cogne.”

Servizio navetta gratuito nelle varie frazioni di Cogne. Spa ottima Ristoranti dell’hotel molto apprezzati ”

”Cogne is simply beautiful. Small enough to be charming, big enough to stay busy and entertained. The Chateau Royal was a great home base. Centrally located, comfortable and we'll equipped. We originally booked two nights but added two more as it was such a great village with so much to do. We hiked, fished, rafted and paraglided plus catching some of the abundant castles and forts in the Sister Valley). This one is a do-over (we'll be back:-).”
