Originally built as a traditional three-storey Cretan home, the property has been thoughtfully redesigned into a vertical open-plan loft connected by a sculptural spiral staircase that flows dramatically through the entire residence. Original architectural charm meets modern minimalism, creating a space that feels both authentic and refined.

The ground floor welcomes guests into a bright open living area combined with a fully equipped kitchen and dining space — perfect for gathering after a day exploring the harbor, beaches, and hidden streets of Chania. A comfortable sofa bed allows additional sleeping capacity, enabling the loft to accommodate up to seven guests.

On the first floor, The Black Room offers a warm and intimate atmosphere with twin beds, generous storage, and a compact ensuite bathroom — ideal for friends or family members seeking privacy and comfort.

The second floor hosts the elegant master room, featuring a queen-size bed, a spacious private bathroom, and a dedicated workspace designed for reading, creativity, or remote work beneath the calm ambiance of the Old Town.

Above, The Den provides a relaxed lounge area with an additional sofa bed, creating a quiet corner for conversation, reading, or evening relaxation. From here, step onto the charming rooftop terrace, where terracotta rooftops, historic facades, and glimpses of the sea create a magical setting for morning coffee or wine beneath the stars.

Thoughtfully designed for modern travelers, Icarus Loft combines aesthetic character with practical comfort. High-speed internet throughout the home makes it especially suitable for digital nomads and extended stays, while air conditioning in all areas ensures comfort year-round.

Please note that Icarus Loft features an open vertical layout with no interior doors separating the floors. While this creates a bright and airy architectural experience, the staircase-centered design may not be suitable for very young children, guests with mobility limitations, or those uncomfortable with stairs.
