Come and stay at the verge of the ancient town Aptera, in a peaceful ambient traditional village where the warmth of true Cretan hospitality (Philoxenia) is at its peak. surrounded by archeological ruins and castles, the land of the Minoans which is believed to be the first civilization in western Europe thanks to its strategic location protected by extensive Cyclopean walls and its famous Souda Bay harbors, proved to be ideal and it contributed to its becoming the most important commercial and political center of Western Kreta.


Built in the 19th Century,"Palace / Mountain view" is a charming, sunny, spacious (2) two bed room fully equipped stone house with a big private garden & pool located in a safe & quiet picturesque village 10min drive from sandy beach. Naturally fortified with panoramic Mountain View of Chania, suitable for Families, couples or a group of 5 friends.

Fully renovated (April 2018) personally by the host with much love, care and attention to detail with the purpose of providing a pleasurable experience & a perfect escape.

This cozy, pleasant very sunny stone house can host up to five (5) persons with comfort, where every detail is taken care of, with our guests in mind in a seamless blend of authenticity, tradition with a modern twist and comfort, fully equipped to meet all the present amenities with access to a big private sunny back yard and garden of wide varieties of colorful flowers and trees, to facilitate for your worry free vacation while enjoying a refreshing drink and absorbing the warmth of Cretan sun in a pleasurable and absolute relaxing vibe that is unique to Chania.

This House consists of two (2) bedrooms, a spacious air conditioned master bedroom with a queen size bed, hanging rack and dressers, with a magnificent mountain view and a beautiful personally designed garden that was handed down from generations.

A Big air conditioned living room where you can spend fun quality times consisting of two large sofa beds, tv, a sitting area with chairs and handmade table, next to which is the second separate bed room with a sofa bed that doubles as another sitting area if you desire.

A private bathroom with a bath tub and all the basic toiletries provided, next to it is a separate laundry room where you can find extra towel sets, bed linens, covers, First Aid Kit and accessories such as hair dryer, iron and ironing board, Baby cot and high chair (upon request) and more.

A fully equipped kitchen including dishes and cooking appliances both small and large for preparing any meal, snack or beverage you feel like.

Each space is fully renovated with brand new accessories and all essentials & toiletries are provided for our guests!

THE OUTSIDE PREMISES

Big Part of the charm to this house is that is has access to a lovely spacious private sunny court yard and the private pool, ideal for sunbathing or for the kids to run free and play or even have a refreshing drink while enjoying the magical Chania sunset.

Let’s not forget the private beautiful garden immerging with various local flowers, plants and trees, providing a perfect escape from the buzzing city center, giving off a natural warm and relaxing vibe.

At the premises you can find Variety of Trees such as Figs, Lemons, Olives, Almonds, Loquat fruits, Apples, Pomegranates, Peaches, Indian fig Opuntia (Cactus) and more that you can pick from, of course all this is subject to availability, season and maturity.


Most convenient transportation to reach the house is by car which is also preferable as 1km away you have access to the national highway, making Chania a good starting base to visit the must see attractions of Crete.

In the village you can find 3 traditional taverns and a mini market less than 8 minute walk away.

Nearest Sandy beach is 10 minute Drive away (Kiani Akti)

Also a nearby village which is located next to the sea is Kalyves which is 13 minute drive away with supermarket, bank (ATMs), Post Service, Fish Taverns, Cafeterias and more.
