”If your looking for a camping lifestyle then stay here. We stayed in one of the top level A frames and had a wonderful stay. Would definitely recommend to bring your own snacks and drinks as well as food if you are a picky eater or have dietary restrictions as the menu is very limited and there are only certain hours to order food. It is a bit out of the way so be prepared for that but if you want peace and quiet away from the crowds this is the place. Lovely beach practically private to walk...
”HIGHLY recommend Horizon Beach Resort Koh Jum. We stayed in the deluxe sea view bungalow. This was the nicest accommodation we stayed at during our month in Asia. The rooms were CLEAN, even to my standards and the staff is so kind. The island is so quiet and peaceful, with countless restaurants nearby. ”
”Koh Jum seems to be under the radar for most folks traveling koh Lanta. Wich is good cause it has stayed a very quiet place. A little tropical paradise. We stayed 3 nights on Joy Bungalows. The cottage was likely their cheapest, basicly a bed with mosqito net. No ac/fan. Still, great value for the money. You sleep basicly in a jungle /forest or by the sea depending wich cottage you get. The sounds are inredible at night time. The dogs and chicken will likely wake you up early.

”There was very nice and helpful owner and his friend. The owner took care of the scooter rent and transportations so everything was made easy for visitors. The room was very clean and AC was great. ”We stayed for 2nights and everything went great. Bungalows were new and room was nice. Locations was peaceful and near by restaurants, beach and market. The nature sounds were amazing at night and morning (birds singing and grasshopper makimg their sounds). There were no traffic noise so it was very nice. ”
”Eigene Bungalow am Hang im Dschungel oberhalb des Meeres. Loggia mit Hängematte. Moskitonetz in jedem Zimmer. Der Strand ist steinig, aber sehr schön. Auf der Insel ist fast nichts los, so hat man seine Ruhe (wobei wir überall in Thailand natürlich auch viele Deutsche anzutreffen sind...).
Die umliegenden Restaurants sind sehr gut und günstig, das Hotelrestaurant ist eher teuer.
Man muss sich auf Insekten im Zimmer einstellen, weil man direkt in der Natur ist.
Kein Warmwasser in Zimmern...
”Kaukana kaikesta. Päiväsaikaan erittäin mukava resort ja ystävällinen hyvä palvelu, mutta yöt olivat kauheita liskojen, torakoiden ja muiden öttimönkiäisten seurassa. ”We loved the overall atmosphere and mood at Long Beach Chalet so much that we ended up booking one more night there in the end of our trip to Koh Lanta. It's a fairly small resort with a lot of outdoor space and different spots for hanging out, so it never felt overcrowded even though the resort was fully booked on several days during our stay. ”Vietimme täällä 6 yötä ja pidimme hotellista erittäin paljon. Henkilökunta oli todella ystävällistä ja huomaavaista. Parveke oli altaalle päin, joka oli erittäin hyvässä kohdassa aamupala paikkaan, altaaseen ja rantaan nähden. Huone oli reilun kokoinen, puhdas ja siisti. Hyttysiä oli paljolti, mutta koko hotellin alueella tai huoneissa ei näkyny yhtään torakkaa, joka oli erittäin positiivista. :D Jyrkkiä mäkiä hotellista löytyy, mutta sen voi ottaa myös positiivisesta näkökulmasta. "Rayavadee is a once in a lifetime experience. The hotel is surrounded by three most beautiful beaches that are really hard to access otherwise. The two-storey rooms were a little worn down, but you are paying for the experience of staying at this unique property and on close proximity to one of beautiful beaches on the world."
"Very kind staff providing top-notch service. Everything was very fresh. Great amenities around the pool area: comfy sunbeds, outdoor-massage area right by the sea, good restaurant, pool-bar. Only downside was the loud nightclub music from across the bay, the bass was quite loud even inside our bungalow until around 2-3AM, but the hotel had a disclaimer about that already before booking so it was expected. Porters carried our luggage from and to the pier which was really nice although it’s only a ~10min walk. Smooth and nice check-in- and -out service. Excellent breakfast (and lunch and dinner as well). The hotel is in a calm area on the western end of the northern beach of Phi Phi - very calm around there apart from the aforementioned music (which comes from across the bay)."
