”The front desk staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly. Daily breakfast was a lovely touch and we enjoyed it on the roof deck, as well as the sangria or cucumber water in the afternoons. The location is perfect for those wanting to explore both the tourist areas and the more quiet local spots. The room was lovely, very clean and well maintained. Bedding was comfortable and the seating area was very cute. We loved this place and will certainly go back!”

”There were no amenities. One has to pay for the breakfast. There’s no coffee in the room. Everything in the place felt dated, but not quaint. No modern conveniences. The staff was very very nice, and I wished they had something much nicer to work with than their cluttered office and dingy rugs and dated furniture.”

”My daughter and I arrived to the property around 1pm and were grateful for an early check in. We were offered three rooms, two in the basement of the house where we checked in (not Melville). The room was dark and musty with dated furniture and a stained rug. I’ve stayed in B&Bs with this place before and knew about the bait and switch. We were only in Newport for a day and a half so we took the hit for the early check in. The real issue I have is with the what I’m going to assume is mold? The...

”Front desk staff are absolutely amazing. We had friends come to join us for the second night of our stay and they found us a two bedroom suite and made the move so easy. The rooms were impeccable and the location is absolutely the best. Except for going to the beach we were able to park our car and walk everywhere. We have stayed here many many times, so many I couldn't begin to count. Never a negative experience.”

”I travelled with my husband and two older teenage children. It was our first stay in Newport. The inn has an excellent location, amazing views, great rooms, and excellent/helpful staff. There is a parking in front of the inn and the property serves continental breakfast and cookies and coffee in the afternoon. I definitely recommend it!”
